I swear to god I subscribed to national geographic this year expecting to read cool articles about lions or about the reproductive system of fish but instead so far I got:
*a special issue about slavery
*a special issue about women

the only real way for europe to stop immigration is by taking away the incentive to immigrate. if europe put together a "marshall plan"-style package for the middle east, the middle east could be developed over the next few decades and people would stop immigrating (because most people who immigrate would deep down prefer to remain at home with their own culture and language and families). same goes for africa.

this is, unironically, the only feasible solution. if the 1st world wants to stop thirdies from immigrating to their countries and fucking everything up, they will sadly have to help thirdies put their countries in order.
