material possesions only bring a temporary relief to worldy issues, having a go at things that seemed far away before is a undoubtedly satisfying. but once you're satisfied, you grow tired of what you own and you always want more possesions. even in the case you'd have unlimited money you'll eventually reach a point where you got a taste of everything and you'ill probably end up depressed in order to correct the balance of cheap pleasure/suffering, once you've suffered you can have a taste again at cheap pleasure (unending, meaningless cycle of suffering). the only things we need are basic: food,shelter,clothes. once this is achieved, everything else is superfluous. if a true state of happiness exists, and I sincerely believe it does, then this state is something that should be achieved in being, it should lies outside of the eternal cycle of pleasure/suffering. it is not found in identifying oneself in achievements, nor in possesions, because those always fail to trully fill us. thirdies look up at firsties, because they're in lack of basic needs, but firsties look up at thirdies because they're not corrupted by society's artifical needs that alienate true human pursuit of happiness
