Mate of mine downed a glass of olive oil as a joke while when were were pissed.

He ended up shitting himself in his sleep. Not pleasant

Costa Rica is closer to being a desert than a jungle.

Cheese and tulips. It's only the west sliver of the country that's obsessed with those, but sadly that's where all the ships come and go (also historically), so that's the part the world knows about.

By this time everyone knows Argentina is a piece of shit, but if you didn't

Whatever 'good' thing you know argentina for is a lie
>Tango is Uruguayan
>Mate is Paraguayan
>Gauchos are Brazilian
>Rio de la Plata belongs to Uruguay
>Sao Paulo, Ayrton Senna,Pele are superior to Buenos Aires, Fangio, Messi and Maradona
>Brazilian churrasco is better than arshitinian asado
>Chilean Patagonia is better than Argentinian 'Patagonia' (a desert, really)
>Carlos Gardel was Uruguayan
>The Southernmost city of the world isn't Ushuaia, but Puerto Williams
>North Argentina belongs to Bolivia
>Brazil and Uruguay are whiter.
>Chile is safer and richer
>Argentinian ''''''beaches'''''' pale in comparison to Brazils
>Piazzolla hated Argentina and Argentines
>2 bought football WCs amidst corruption against 5 legit brazilian WCs
>Borges and Cortazar are worse than Garcia Marquez and Pablo Neruda, Cortazar being a mere copycat
>Economy is shit
>Society is shit
>Streets are dirty
>Geography is shit

i think your country is a vapid and ultra-materialistic late stage capitalist dystopian hellhole and feel bad for the majority of you.

Some seem to think that Slovenia is some deep Balkan country with Ottoman culture which is complete nonsense. Even geographically, only the southern part of the country contains the Dinaric mountains.
Then there are others who think that Slovenia is some sort of Little Italy, which I think is even stranger. The coast and a strip of land a certain radius around it has Mediterranean climate and biomes, and those are generally the parts that were most in contact with Italian/Venetian/Friulian influences. The rest of the country has a much bigger history with Austria/the Germans. Hell, the Pannonian part of the country is bigger than the Mediterranean one and nobody talks about Slovenia being a Pannonian country.
Some even think that Slovenia is some downtrodden post-Soviet hellhole. Even the British foreign secretary Jeremy Hunt mentioned a "Soviet past" in a talk last year, a statement which he soon retracted.
