Zagreb is only ""rich"" because they take all our state tax money. Zagreb used to be a good city until the early 20. century but now it's the garbage capital of eu and rightfully so.
Austrians mostly. Italians had the most cultural impact on the west side of istra and Fiume. These two counties were also fortunate enough to be far enough from Serbia and Bosnia.
