We do that aswell. For kids you paint eggs, then while thats happening the adults hide toy eggs outside in a garden or park, kids go search for them. Dependant on how many you retrieve that equals the amount of chocolate eggs you get.

More countryside today but London has massive parks which it'll happen.
And no, but when kids get they're hands on eggs it'll probably happen. We also do 'egg races' which is where you put an egg on a spoon and race around, if the egg falls off you loose. Dumb kid stuff but I enjoyed it when I was younger.
