Used to be, now almost everyone i see is a no culture soyboy, considering using my Portuguese citizenship to move to Europe. I like talking to old Portuguese people in Portuguese though it's very nice

Don't care anymore. Used to be idealistic and patriotic about this country, but having seen the state of the country culturally and politically, there isn't any hope to but wait out the collapse of the bureaucratic behemoth. It also didn't help that I have an italian first name, so people assume I'm Italian/Sicilian or arab. I'm not even that light colored, I'm easy to pick out as hispanic most of the time. All my tryhard efforts to be le based first gen meant nothing really, people usually like me but there is a still internal confusion on who really are my "people".

as a kid every now and then, but it didn't mean anything to me and it still doesn't. Politeness and understanding will win you points over indignance and mindless public chimp-outs. It's worked out everywhere so far, even in rural bars people have been open-minded. The worst offenders are suburban trash from noveau riche families, act like the world owes them for breathing and generally brash/abrasive. The wealth never lasts past the boorish parents.

Not really. My apathy has reached new heights and I'm too lethargic/tired for the moment. I still do what I need to do, but I'm not expecting much atm. I entered this year optimistic and excited for the future, finally being in my own apartment with some pals. Instead the year is cancelled and the world is in for a new shitstorm. Fuck it.
