>Lithuania and Latvia
are eligible for citizenship?
My parents are both from Mexico but ethnically European (my mother is actually blonde and is usually confused for being German), so I came out [whatever term or description you want to use that won't make Yas Forums fly into a fit of autism], and nobody ever has a clue about the Mexican thing until they see that I have a Spanish surname. I'm always treated like a White male, regardless of the group.
I've lived in Southern California my whole life. When I was younger, I had some issues with identity. I wanted to identify as Mexican/Latino, but I never fit in with them at all, and I was very different in terms of culture and mentality. I always identified way more with White American culture, never with Mexican American culture. I also have a White Californian accent, not that gross accent Latinos here tend to have. I was never discriminated against, but I was usually rejected by other Latinos. They usually consider me White, not one of them. Like I said, everyone treats me as White.
At some point in my 20s I realized it's pointless for me to waste cognitive energy on the whole identity issue, and that what people consider me says more about them and their categorization systems than it does about any part of me. Free starting points in Spanish was pretty comfy, though.
Holy shit i love tunes like this thanks bro. The lyrics are kinda cringe though

Aren’t there a lot of white mexicans? When I was studying French in Quebec there were some Mexicans there too half of them could pass as white with blue eyes

Some bullshit intro 101 filler.
Yeah but if you're working out you're gonna get huge.
Bodybuilders live off chicken and rice, strengthathletes live off rice, potato and red meat.
Rice is based. Potato is based.

>Aren’t there a lot of white mexicans?
Not a lot, but definitely some. There are some areas with more than others, usually concentrated in towns. Whites in Mexico are usually overrepresented in higher social classes, so they have little reason to leave. Most of the ones who come here are from the lower classes, hence the American perceptions. There are more ethnically European Mexicans than there are Indigenous, but Mestizos form the majority. I'm not sure of exact statistics, but I saw lots of light skin and blond hair when I visited my parents' hometown. Some of the European communities are actually quite insular. My father once told me that he was travelling in the southern part of Mexico and came upon a town where every last person had blond hair and light eyes. Apparently the men of the town noticed him there and promptly told him to get the fuck out.
Being chicano is bad and good in the opposite ways that latinos and even whites expect
>Apparently the men of the town noticed him there and promptly told him to get the fuck out.
why?
No they are retarded as fuck. They maintain the retarded Han nationalism mindset and are completely and utterly brainwashed
>where your parents from
My dad was born in mexico and grew up in the west, my mom grew up in mexico
>where were you born/raised
florida
>how do you feel in terms of identity
I have always identified as mexican, never american, only as my nationality. I don't have much of an identity because I'm an introvert, I'm not really integrated anywhere, not even latino communities here
>have you ever been discriminated against
often, by black people. Only sometimes felt discriminated against by white people, but the only times it was explicit were redneck kids.
>is it comfy?
seems comfier than me to than being white, but much less comfy than living in mexico. There's no real benefits to being american except money and safety, and those things are overrated to me
Based Tezuka poster
probably werent "mexicans" at all lmao, they were most likely mennonites or mormons

Yes, several times actually
>is it comfy?
It is okay as long as I make decent money. Although I have terrible luck in getting girls because of my accent and looks :(
They were apparently guarding their women. He told me that he and his brother stopped there to eat while on a trip, and they sat down on a bench to relax for a bit, as well as to admire the beautiful girls there. He said that a group of men came up to them and asked them what they were doing in their town, to which they responded that they had stopped by to get something to eat. The men then said to them, "eat and then get the fuck out."
only because canada has never accepted us. integration is a two way street. that's why i became a realtor and only sell homes to rich mainlanders

>A few times but not that much. Once when I was younger some douchebag walking past with his girlfriend called me an egyptian kid, and I got racist jokes before but nothing too bad
>Decently comfy. Australia is a nice place to live, especially when compared to India
t half italian
why is this board so nationalist if so many of you are immigrants?
how has canada not accepted you we dont do they retarded shit that the aussies do. Also fuck you now i have to go live in the boonies
whos clay is the falklands
huh?
there was never a sizeable italian migration towards cuba
I was expecting this question and I must say I still can't figure out how I feel about the falklands despite being a big time nationalist, I even visited stanley once, all I can say for sure is I'd NEVER live there
i mentioned earlier i became aware very early on that a chinese person will never be canadian. i may be born here and i may hold a canadian passport, but i'll never be a canadian. for all the talks of equality and multiculturalism its really a facade. it'd be as if a white guy tries to live his life in china as a chinese. you're just totally out of place.
also FYI many european foreigners are also buying up canadian real estate. the rich chinese arent the only ones fucking things up here.
So it's true... A foreigner really does lurk behind every Aus/US/Canadian flag.
This is obviously the thread where immigrants gather.
My mum's anglo South African and my dad's from weird rural NSW but I grew up in Queensland
And for some reason I picked up a bit of an accent so I say plarnt and darnce not plahnt and dahnce so I never really fully fit into anywhere but I kind of do everywhere
I don't know I find normie have the same dinner on each day of the week, wear a singlet under your shirt, shower before you go to bed and smell like butter culture odd

Toowoomba
I guess it's culturally different from the rest of Queensland as well

Luso-Canadian my area was basically all Portuguese or Italian so it was very comfy growing up
>>have you ever been discriminated against
A few jokes like "pork chop" nothing I care about
>>is it comfy?
Used to be, now almost everyone i see is a no culture soyboy, considering using my Portuguese citizenship to move to Europe. I like talking to old Portuguese people in Portuguese though it's very nice
>where your parents from
Mexico (mother), Afghanistan (father)
>where were you born/raised
Detroit, but in the suburbs far from the actual shitholistan at the time.
>how do you feel in terms of identity
Don't care anymore. Used to be idealistic and patriotic about this country, but having seen the state of the country culturally and politically, there isn't any hope to but wait out the collapse of the bureaucratic behemoth. It also didn't help that I have an italian first name, so people assume I'm Italian/Sicilian or arab. I'm not even that light colored, I'm easy to pick out as hispanic most of the time. All my tryhard efforts to be le based first gen meant nothing really, people usually like me but there is a still internal confusion on who really are my "people".
>have you ever been discriminated against
as a kid every now and then, but it didn't mean anything to me and it still doesn't. Politeness and understanding will win you points over indignance and mindless public chimp-outs. It's worked out everywhere so far, even in rural bars people have been open-minded. The worst offenders are suburban trash from noveau riche families, act like the world owes them for breathing and generally brash/abrasive. The wealth never lasts past the boorish parents.
>is it comfy?
Not really. My apathy has reached new heights and I'm too lethargic/tired for the moment. I still do what I need to do, but I'm not expecting much atm. I entered this year optimistic and excited for the future, finally being in my own apartment with some pals. Instead the year is cancelled and the world is in for a new shitstorm. Fuck it.
Why the fuck do only fruits hit on me
>Mum was born in London
>Dad born in rural WA
>Spent most time around my mum growing up
>Got a strange mishmash of an aussie and posh pom accent because of it
>Identify as Australian, but have a soft spot for the UK
>Last name is Flemish, got family there.
>Would love to go there but I don't speak the language.
>Only been discriminated against as a filthy pom in jest by mates.
>Life's pretty good.
Take it as a compliment ;)
What do you mean never? It’s because you continue doing this stupid shit that’s why.
My brother
>Used to be, now almost everyone i see is a no culture soyboy
So aren’t you also exactly what you’re describing
This thread is proof that Toronto is quite possibly the most soulless city on earth
Toronto and surrounding suburbs are max comfy
>rhotic r
oh deary cringe
>half flip with flip dad
rare, how'd he do it?
asians and whites arent meant to live together. we are diametrically opposites of each other as evident by the history of the chinese in north america. unfortunately my father was a cuck for the west and gave up a perfectly good life in china.
