It already almost is. As far as i know norwegians and swedes understand each other and danish is literally just swedish but with a speech impediment

They could name it Latin since their languages are based on the languages of the Latins
Good thing languages don't drift or anything or else it might slip into regional varieties and dialects that could one day become their own languages
I feel like if we made a common standard language for Scandinavian, we could name it Norse
