>tfw cannot find this book online dammit I guess I'll have to choose another grammar book
I tried to find it as a PDF as well. I couldn't. I suppose you will have to use one from the MEGA archive in the OP then.
Luke Martin
It doesn't actually stop it but it does make it so you get it later in life than early. As in years later not months.
Daniel Hughes
How do i avoid getting this? I can't think of a more scary thing to go through, your entire conscious just slowly melts away and you forget your own children when they walk right in front of you etc. I don't even want to think about such things, i have sleep issues and always in the back of my mind i am scared that 30-40 years from now it will all catch up to me.

"How to learn any language"
Is this book any good?
Kayden James
Think of it like breasts. When women wear supportive braziers all their life they lose the muscles that support their breasts. So later in life their breasts become saggy and disgusting because of this. It is the same with the mind. You need to properly use it to keep it working. These illnesses are fairly modern since in the past people would use their minds for much more. You would have people remember entire books of poems tens of thousands lines long so their minds wouldn't go lazy. Or mothers that remember hundreds of nursery rhymes that they can say without effort. Modern minds are lazy so they become worse. Even now dementia cases of 50 year olds are starting to happen because minds are becoming even more lazy now.
Connor Ross
How are you supposed to properly use breast muscles
Noah Kelly
Man, my retention of words/phrases is so bad on memrise so discouraging.
Jacob Ramirez
it takes time user, keep it up!
Carter Kelly
carefully
Ian Wilson
breast muscels are used to support the breasts. braziers cause them to become lazy.
Gabriel Miller
When the fuck can i start actually outputting, does it really take months and months. I don't know what program to keep using or method to start or series of methods to use a whirlwind of information. I just want to learn enough to where i can actually go onto the Russian vrchat worlds and talk to people not just say my name and a few phrases then be out of ammo in terms of speech for the rest of the time.
Интepecнo! A ecть ли кaкиe-нибyдь cтилиcтичecкиe или гpaммaтичecкиe пpeдпиcaния нa тeмy кaк пpaвильнeй гoвopить ceйчac? I would find it interesting to put a person with an old working class Boston accent and some rural Scottish/Irish accent and see whether they can understand each other. With normative accents it's a lot easier, but they're sort of artificially imposed on a population rather than emerge naturally. And as said above all the hardcore incomprehensible accents are dying out because of the telly and internet so there is linguistic unification going on. Memorisation is to do with imagery and associations things evoke in your mind. So if it is hard to remember, one would try to find a phonetic or literal resemblance. >These illnesses are fairly modern since in the past people would use their minds for much more. While this might still be the case, I think that it really is due to the fact that people live much longer on average now and also our abilities to diagnose improved immensely.
Ryan Hill
It’s not like without bras females use breasts very actively. They are basically hanging around while gravitation is doing its job.
Isaac Lewis

How do you cope with learning a language with barely any contents? Hungarian is interesting but I can't find anything interesting in that language
Colton Lewis
Any tips, or advice on German? Been decent so far, but I've heard the grammar becomes confusing rather quickly.
Nathaniel Ward
I once heard that the Hungarian translation of the Flintstones cartoon was famous because it was made entirely out of poems. I don't know if this is true though.

Language challenge >You always make me smile. >I want to see you more. >How long are you staying? >The sun is shining brightly.
>We can't stop what's coming, it will destroy everything. >Did you pass your exam successfully? >There are not enough toilet rolls in the supermarkets. >Reason is useless. Experience is ignored. Only instinct can take over.
>This building was built in a very short time thanks to the efforts of construction workers. >How long are we going to be backed into a corner? >Smuggling of hard drugs is punished by death, hanging or shooting. >In South Africa, coming back from a shopping trip is like a military expedition. >The prosecution got through the entire trial with no more than a few really important affidavits of their own.
Austin Davis
you don't. if the language wasn't written before or during the renaissance then you wont find enough material to read. simple as.
Ayden Gray
>I would find it interesting to put a person with an old working class Boston accent and some rural Scottish/Irish accent We would understand them easily and they would probably understand us with a bit more difficulty. They probably wouldn't understand most of what a rural scots speaker says though.
Ryan Robinson
Has anyone here done goldlist? Is it good?
Alexander Rodriguez
Just start outputting and inputting right now. No need to wait. If you can't talk much on VR chat, just listen to what others say.

Dutch Bros, please clear this for me. Does the second verb always go in last position of the sentence, even if it's not in subclause? And is it always in the infinitive?

Start with Anki. Even with Anki I had words I kept forgetting (I'm learning Russian) so what I do now is everyday I take a small article on Russian Reuters and transcribe it on paper. All the words I don't know I search the translation. It helps because you see the usage of the word in context and have less chances of forgetting it.
Chase Moore
Can I use 'smack' in formal text? An example being, 'his room smack of a pig's pen'. Also is it usable with both nouns and adjectives? Examples being 'his appearance smack of despair' and 'the texture of the food smack of coarse dirt'.
Christopher Adams
>Du bringst mich immer zu lächeln. >Ich will dich mehr sehen. >Wie lang bleibst du? >Die Sonne scheint.
Andrew Richardson
>smack Do you mean stank?
Oliver Adams
No, all of those example the word doesn't fit. It just means to hit something, most commonly with an open hand like a slap but it can mean hitting anything with anything really. It also is slang for certain drugs i think like heroin or something. You could kind of use it in these ways
>his appearance had a smack of despair to it >his appearance was ragged with a smack of despair to it >the texture of the food had a smack of coarse dirt taste (kind of an awkward sentence) >the food smacked their taste buds with a coarse dirt taste
I just wrote this whole post and this does seem like the most obvious thing. Yeah you probably did just mean stank, as it fits much better with all these sentences.
Dominic Adams

Tú siempre haces me sonreír Yo quiero a ver tú más ¿Cuantos tiempos estas quedando? El sol es brillando intensamente
No podemos pare que es viniendo. Va a destruir todos. ¿Pasas tu examen satisfactoriamente? Hay no bastante papel higiíenico en el marketo. La razón es no útil. La experiencia es ignoró. Solo instinto poder ganar
I have quite literally never heard the word smack ever used in that context.
Adam Parker
I have never heard anyone use "smack" in this context ever in my life until today
Austin Green
I have heard this before, but it very informal and is rarely used.
Isaiah Thompson
Why do you need to remember words that you don't use?

>¿Pasas tu examen satisfactoriamente? ¿Pasaste tu examen satisfactoriamente? Sounds unnatural though, a more natural way would be ¿Tu examen fue bien? (your exam went well?) >Hay no bastante papel higiíenico en el marketo. No hay suficiente papel higiénico en el mercado. >La razón es no útil. La experiencia es ignoró. Solo instinto poder ganar La razón no es útil. La experiencia se ignora. Solo el instinto puede hacerse cargo.

Is this a superior or inferior way to make up new words?
