Could anyone tell me why is it allowed to glorify traitors who cause the most disgusting internal conflict in the...

How is enslaving negroes a evil and not a glory?

Btw.

You are completely ignoring the fact that US macro-regions have always had rivalries. And the most famous will always be North(east) vs. South(east)

Because Southerners are arrogant without anything to show for it.
Prideful for the sake of pride.
They don't see the Confederacy for what it did or actually represented, just that it's their heritage and ebil libruls are trying to stop them from being proud of it.
Lincoln was much too lenient on them.
He ought to have shipped every Negro back to Africa and publicly hanged every Confederate soldier.

It's just another way people want to feel special and/or part of a group, but also stand against the increasing homogenization of the US and what they see as a "dilution" of southern culture. I seriously doubt any of them have some deep opinions on the economics of cotton and slavery. It's all very surface level.

lmao we already have that.

Geography, culture, and really good timing, and a bit of what this guy said After the war, the traitors were let back into the union, because after all, they were still Americans with the same history. There was a major push to reintegrate them into American society, "we are all brothers", calling the war "a war between brothers", almost to the point of completely forgiving their entire rebellion.

This evolved into something called the "Lost Cause" pseudo-historical analysis. That the confederates were bravely trying to defend their way of life. Which pretty much every southerner held by the 1900s.

The Civil War is the most studied even in American history. And there are certainly many Confederate victories, for most of the war actually, and many great Confederate commanders, like Lee or Stonewall. Even academics in American agree that confederates "fought the good fight" so to speak, and were worthy, albeit wrong, opponents

Then, the Civil War soldiers started dying of old age around the start of WW1, when America was emerging a world power, and becoming super patriotic during WW1. So many sons and grandsons of the confederate soldiers wanted to honor their memory by making statues and monuments

Then around the 1960s and 1970s, the Confederate Flag became a symbol for general rebellion and edginess, not necessarily tied to the Civil war

Combine all 5 and you basically get what it is today

why do you want to give them free shit
>Lincoln was much too lenient on them.
>He ought to have shipped every Negro back to Africa and publicly hanged every Confederate soldier.
This
Trump is been saying on his last rallies that the republican party is the party of Lincoln, and also praised grant for kocking the hell out of the confederacy

>No,the the americans completely neglected afro-american communities and left them to degenerate into the absolute cultural garbage they are today.
You mean the southerners who went out of their way to fuck up any attempt for blacks not to be sub-humans whether it was from the feds or blacks themselves.

>You mean the southerners who went out of their way to fuck up any attempt for blacks not to be sub-humans
Niggers deserve worse

>Prideful for the sake of pride.
At least we aren't afraid to be proud

>Lincoln was much too lenient on them.
>He ought to have shipped every Negro back to Africa and publicly hanged every Confederate soldier.
Your great great granddaddy's buried in my backyard LMAO!

Red Pill: In hindsight, Lincoln's imperialistic policy of Westerward Expansion for white farmers was much more beneficial to white southerners than the institution of slavery
