Thats the biggest reason why Hubei death rate got so much higher (4% vs. rest of China's .7%). The hospitals get blown out so you can't treat the ~20% of people requiring hospitalization. Thats why they were so fast to shut that shit down somewhere around ~20 deaths.
EU should have been building big temporary hospitals and rerouting equipment and workers to Italy last week. Instead it looks like every man for himself, and Italy isn't bothering to shut down. Between EU and USA, disappointment is an understatement.
