Where do you think we are?

I know shitfuckall about 40k, but I do know that the Gem Empire is a fucking joke, so I'm going to go with 40k

If Cadia still has any oceans they are dead. lapiz lazuly once made a tower from the entirety of earths oceans. also she can make water duplicates stronger than original gems without the special abilities

rubies are heat resistant enough to swim in lava so the IG flashlights are useless as always. most gems have force of a ogring if not stronger they also dont need to breathe or eat

sapphire has precognition so there is that.

Rose quarts can make Immortal teleport beacon soldiers from the dead/wounded

blue diamond has emotion projection so that could break the ones with week wills

over all gems are a pretty powerful race and could survive the 40k universe

>Gem Empire is a fucking joke
its like giving a mech to a toddler. they have all the weapons they could ask for yet they have no idea how to use them properly

na they're weak shit compared to 40k
op should have picked a stronger alien species

Attached: exterminatus.jpg (1280x720, 109.74K)

Use comics next time. And if you’re gonna pick a cartoon, SU’s not a fighting scene

really? sure when you are talking about the character, most lack the killer instinct to thrive.

But when talking about abilities they have and could use they are on par with the Eldar at the very least.

If a human being can survive in 40K so could a Gem

Their abilities might help them for a time, but 40k is filled with planet killers and the like.
Humans have tech that wipe out planets in seconds, i'm not even going to mention the space marines.

Ok what are the criteria to survive in 40K?

resistance? they never tire, are biologically immortal and the only way perma kill them is to shatter their core or else they can just regenerate

Destructive power? the Cluster was a planet buster gem made from a mass grave. Lapis Lazuli can manipulate entire oceans. White Diamond can brainwash entire planets in minutes

Mobility? they have galaxy wide FTL much more reliable than warp travel and would kill any biological live on their ships

so yeah they would be a minor power like the Tau and could grow like them

Isn't the Imperiums tech canonically fucking retarded beyond belief?

Like, their shit is objectively worst than what the US military has *right the fuck now* because the creators have no fucking idea how weapons actually work and are guided exclusively by rule-of-cool?

I might be wrong but I don't think I am.

>a minor power like the Tau
>making it past the cadian gate
Are you high right now?

Also I'm aware that the Ariete is Italian and not American. Substitute
>objectively worst than what the US military has
for
>objectively worst than what any quasi-modern military has

MInor in term of numbers.

put the diamonds or high end elemental gems and they fuck the planet up

yes

reddit.com/r/whowouldwin/comments/6nzeo1/leman_russ_imperium_of_man_vs_m1_abrams/

many aspects of IoM technology are more basic than our modern tech

In some cases? Yes. That's mostly because of extreme stagnation over 10k years and lack of tools (or unwillingness) to create better tech.

The overwhelming majority of the Imperium's tech is ridiculously overpowered though. Their bottom-of-the barrel gun (lasgun) has the sort of stopping power equal to a .50 round.

Attached: 43717108765_d190c7136e_o.jpg (2560x1600, 826.24K)

that would be useless against gems because of their thermal resistance

even bolt weapons would need a deadshot to destroy their core

>Their bottom-of-the barrel gun (lasgun) has the sort of stopping power equal to a .50 round.
Quantify that.

I don't want examples or shit you took from a book or how much dmg/sec your little fucking game says. I mean a quantifiable, measurable amount of energy.

Wtf do you mean by "stopping power", and what is the "stopping power of a .50 and you are aware there is more than one kind of .50 calibre round, right?

Cadia has more people, they'll eventually win through numbers.

Considering the gems have significantly less written about them than the Imperium and as such have no yet defined upper limit of technology with their civilizaqtion spanning across an entire galaxy and potentially the entire universe except for Earth...I think they would win.

Literally in every case the answer is "we haven't been shown the gems couldn't do more".

They're artificial immortal constructs of hard light that travel the universe and as a group have near infinite abilities. I think they have this shit down.

honestly its pointless we are not going to convince them because one of the main points of 40K appeal is ''this universe is so OP NOTHING COULD BEAT IT'' meme.

if you show ''hey here is a similar feat to X 40K character'' they will just say ''X character is stronger because it is 40k''

Vulcan, one of the stronger Primearchs, died in atmospheric reentry but later came back from the dead. there are characters in SU that have a similar level of resistance but the 40k fags would throw a fit if i said that Samurai Jack could survive in 40k even though he has a similar feat of durability

Surviving reentry is more of a heat resistance thing if anything anyway

40k goes by the rule of cool, the cooler side wins that's that.
Samurai Jack is cool so he'd probably survive the Gems however are really gay, so they'd get crushed.
Now that I think about it, I don't think the gems would last more than a day, they'd all be tainted by Chaos.

Inferior to a Leopard 2 in every fucking way. Fuck you.

Gems just get stolen by Trazyn and added to his autistic collection of artifacts.

>Vulcan, one of the stronger Primearchs, died in atmospheric reentry but later came back from the dead.
A book before this happened, it was made pretty clear that each death was weakening him. When we see him come back to life in Old Earth, he was literally taking a nap in lava. Then during The Beast Arises, he got hit with several trillion tons of force and only suffered a few broken ribs. Posting feats without context doesn't help your argument.

>a stephen universe faction in 40k
they break down crying after an Ork says Green is Bestest because they're not green

Haha.

Mate Baneblades take Railgun shots to the face without giving a shit and their main gun shoots rocket artillery. Hell it has a fucking reactor.

Leopard 2 would get fucking fucked.

Fuck you autists. Answer:
WHAT IS THE POWER OUTPUT? Source it.

fine here ya go

>Mate Baneblades take Railgun shots to the face
How much armor do they have?
What is it made of?
What is the hardness of the material? How much energy does the "railgun" deliver? Give me a sourced number.

>railgun
Yes, railguns that were made up by weapons illiterate retards that have no idea wtf they're writing.

>a bunch of emotionally unstable children
so we are talking about the primearchs now?

forgot the link
wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Lasgun

>he was literally taking a nap in lava.
Garnet can do the exact same thing so what is your point?

Psykers can mind rape them so hard it's not funny.
The strongest one can just reality warp.
Imperium has the fire power to destroy their core and the sheer number to tire them out.

And that's only if we stand by the regular things they got on Cadia. Using Primarch is cheating

>he was literally taking a nap in lava.
garnet can do the exact same
what is your point ? that the durability of most 40k charaters is higher when it isnt

>Imperium has the fire power to destroy their core and the sheer number to tire them out.
No they don't. The gems are spread throughout the entire observable universe the Imperium isn't even out of the Galaxy.

You're the only autist here you fucking austist.

I don't think the gems could handle thing

>Garnet can do the exact same thing so what is your point?
My point is that your example is clearly contradicted when Vulkan is physically at his best and that using one time instances of a character when they're weakened isn't the right way to go about things.

I may have been wrong for the numbers, but the psykers are just a hard stop for the gems

That's not an answer that's a link to the article on lasguns and it has a list of lasguns. It doesn't even give a number for the amount of power each shot uses it does have amounts for the charge on the batteries with a unit given in "thules" which is just a nonsense measurement.

You could have just said "we have no idea and the literature never provides any" and saved yourself the trouble.

White Diamond can brainwash a entire planet.
she has a stronger mind than most psykers

>sheer number to tire them out.
they don't tire. they are constructs like the crons and have similar capabilities of regeneration.

The gems aren't organic. There's nothing for them to "mind rape". What they think is a brain is just a bunch of hard light.

So which do you think would happen first? They'd shatter from the Sonic Cannon, or the rape?

>How much armor do they have?
Superstructure has 200mm, both the hull and gun mantlet have 180mm.
>What is it made of? What is the hardness of the material?
Ceramite and Plasteel. Ceramite is a form of ceramic that neither ruptures nor dents, and is repaired by simply adding another layer of ceramite to it. Ceramite also only barely conducts heat. Plasteel is just what you think it is, an extremely expensive metal that can be molded like plastic before it hardens into a super-tough structure.
>How much energy does the "railgun" deliver?
A Tau Hammerhead can fire a slug at hyper-velocity. So take your standard tank round, multiply its speed to break Mach 3, and you've got a standard railgun used by the Tau. Even that isn't enough to penetrate the frontal glacis. Only multiple rounds will be enough to break apart a compartment and cause interior damage.

--wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Railgun

Yeah but the Imperium has over a million planets. I'm pretty sure the Gems don't have that many.

wtf is the gem empire? and cadia broke before the guard did. it still lives on in our hearts
