It wasn't even forced. You could hardly tell that she and Asami were a couple, even with the ending. The creators had to outright say that they were in a relationship days after the ending.

Yeah, there is that to consider, which does suck, but there's no harm throwing in some sequel bait even if the show didn't get picked up for another season.

Which surely was insane to think honestly, ATLA was insanely popular. Tho it is Nick I suppose.

I feel like turning Korra into the school shooter type is some form of projecting here.

to be honest we need a villain avatar series. Where the avatar is the villain and the benders have to defeat him.
