How to fix Legend of Korra

How to fix Legend of Korra
>Korra is now male
>instead of being a hot-head, he's now a loner, almost emotionless but is calculating and level-headed
>struggling to come to terms w/ his bisexuality (instead of forced lesbian ending)
>weaker avatar state cause he has no spiritual training (but overcomes this)
>gets disillusioned about being the avatar and saving the world, and becomes the main villain at the end.

Any of these ideas doesn't fix anything. The problem was shit tier story and characters, not 'struggling with bisexuality' or being brooding batman type. Granted more intelligent hero wouldn't fail as much but if he'd still make same choices it wouldn't make a change. Also switching to a man makes no difference especially if you want to make him bisexual.
Also this. You want your gay sasuke and that's kinda pathetic user

She kinda was a bully desu. She just got her ass kicked a lot by people who were less retarded than her

Does it come with comedic sound effects?

>When you're a coomer and only "watch" cartoons to fap and also closeted gay

I doubt a gay female sasuke would sell well. it still needs to attract viewers to not get cancelled. One of the biggest problem this show had was the day it was aired and the fact that it was a huge marketing failure.

Fair point I forget that 99% of people who stomach Korra are just coomers who want to fap to her. Pretty sure yaoi fangirls wouldn't be as numerous

How to actually "fix" Korra:
>Explain why Korra is locked up in a compound and barely gets any social interaction with her peers in season 1, not in season 3.
>Focus on Korra being a fish out of water more, have her actually find being "the Avatar" easy, but being "Korra" difficult.
>Amon is once again a charlatan, but instead of some bloodbending bollocks, he's a psychologist who uses fear to make people think they've lost their bending, and has deliberately set himself up as Korra's Antagonist and antithesis as a means of getting her to grow and learn to be her own Avatar rather than the idea of the Avatar the White Lotus forced upon her.
>And they were also someone in the White Lotus who disagreed with Korra being raised in a compound, even after the Red Lotus attempted kidnapping.
>after defeating Amon, have Korra actually on screen help with dismantling the Council and helping to oversee elections.

Bish, bash, bosh. Korra has a strong thematic goal, the Amon reveal doesn't require some godlike bending, the villain is actually well intentioned but also wayyy too far off their rocker. Make Amon somehow nearer to Korra's Age to bait all the shippers, have "who exactly tried to kidnap Korra and Why" be the lead in for the next season, have Korra be actually pro-active and have a character arc that isn't "Make Aang bail me out".

>How OP wants to self-insert as autist edgy male Korra.
Wow OP, reaching new lows by the post.

We should not forget the context in which the show was produced, though. Each season had to be self-contained, because there was never an assurance that the show would get another new season.
Or at least, that's the explanation that was given back then.

Might have been a lie, though.

This
Korra's best feature was that she was Aang's total opposite.

>Korra is now intelligent
>Korra fights her own battles instead of crying to others every time she gets her dumb ass kicked
How about that?

>the gaang never show up, even in flashbacks
I think this would be a smart choice

This is better.. I like
>mcs helping villain trope
>Amon being Hugo Strange-esque is better compared to the Amon we got
>will reduce rare bending subtypes like bloodbending being a plot-point and being too prominent

unironically sokka would've been a better avatar than korra

I like that part too but it wasnt portrayed well enough.

>forced lesbian ending
It wasn't even forced. You could hardly tell that she and Asami were a couple, even with the ending. The creators had to outright say that they were in a relationship days after the ending.

Yeah, there is that to consider, which does suck, but there's no harm throwing in some sequel bait even if the show didn't get picked up for another season.

Which surely was insane to think honestly, ATLA was insanely popular. Tho it is Nick I suppose.

I feel like turning Korra into the school shooter type is some form of projecting here.

but how are they gonna bait viewers to watch the next season? it had such bad ratings and the bad animation quality didnt help

But she does fight her own fights. Heads on. And looses. Because she's dumb.

Like this alot.

to be honest we need a villain avatar series. Where the avatar is the villain and the benders have to defeat him.

>korra has to deal with political struggle and her time spent saving people is more complex than just "fight bad guy"

>>Korra is now male
>the rest of that description
Might as well just out right place her for someone else, gender bending isn't going to fix this series.

how would you fix it?

Isn't Korra actually a villain? All her actions lead to worsening the overall situation and because of her people around mostly suffer. Be it collatoral damage or even major shit like spirits invading human realm

Just make the Equalists a reoccurring antagonist group and don't make Amon a bender
