>The next avatar will only have Korra to use for wisdom
This shit is repeated every thread even though Korra only relied on Aang, and Aang only relied on Roku aside from literally one episode where other Avatars got about 15 seconds each. It's not new or unusual for an Avatar to only have their predecessor for guidance.
So did Korra's incompetence kill them all forever or just sever their connection to her
Yeah but most people bring it up because Korra is a complete fuck up for the most part.
Aang and Roku were fuck up in their own ways but still had alright advice.
Yeah you mean like Aang for all the others?
>kill Ozai because I couldn't
>kill Ozai because it's right
>kill Ozai because I'm lazy
>kill Ozai despite yourself
>Aang then doesn't kill Ozai
Wow the past Avatars are such a great wealth of wisdom, they're so helpful.
you just gave the long version of my short version
Vaatu remained marginally buffed, and Raava was very nerfed after the whole situation. Then Wan had all the spirits return to the spirit world. Then all the different nations of man who were no longer living on the lion turtles just started doing shit like starting wars.
imagine of wan just never intervened? the balance would remain and we would be living on isolated turtles
They didn't. Aang ignored every piece of Roku's advice aside for the knowledge of Sozin's comet.
>Aang if you leave this guru you'll never be able to Avatar state again (not only was this one ignored, he was also wrong)
>Aang you have to kill Ozai for me
>Aang listen man you gotta figure out this spirit shit on your own
The next Avatar will be fine.
>HOW DOES THIS WORK?
Have you ever seen the old flash game Escape From the Spirit World? It was a fill in between Atla s2 and 3 and had Aang meet his past four lives in the spirit world while he was in a coma. It's where Kyoshi establishing the Dai Li and Kuruk's full backstory was revealed. They all existed in various places in the Spirit World as spirits.
Well, they were right though. Aang should've killed him. He's the Avatar, not an Air Nomad no matter how much he would otherwise prefer to be. Aang was selfish and further placed the world in potential danger by allowing him to live because he refused to defy the teachings of the Air Nomads, despite that he is obligated to be above them.
No other avatar managed to fuck up the connection of all previous avatars so yes, Korra is the most royal fuck up of them all no matter how bad previous incarnations of the Avatar mat have been
Irrelevant. The point was that they weren't helpful and Aang did not need them. Your opinion on who's right between them has no bearing, and neither does mine. The point is that he didn't need them.
>imagine of wan just never intervened? the balance would remain and we would be living on isolated turtles
But it wasn't balanced. Spirits don't belong in the physical world. By intervening, Wan restored balance by having the Spirits go back to their own world and mankind was able to live freely in their world.
