Cartoons you never saw the appeal of

Rugrats

Agreed, don't understand how such ugly looking characters became so popular. And worse how such a blatantly annoyingly repetitive show lasted as long as it did.

I watched that merman ep, The Hole, even the sock puppets, it just doesn't do it for me.

Literally 85% of the episodes are the same.

Teen Titans. I just don't get the appeal. The only good thing about it is Ron Perlman's voice, and even then his character is completely one-dimesnional.

Venture Bros took a while to be good, end of season 1/start of season 2 is where it's generally agreed where that point starts

Tried watching through it twice. Both times I ended up dropping out mid-season 1. Not saying it's a bad show, it's just not for me

Same. I also found villains pretty lame. I understand half of this board wants to fuck Azula, but I don't find her a compelling villain at all.

Took a while for me to actually like this one, but the dry humor and McGuirk are my favorite parts of it. It's an acquired taste
>Venture Bros.
The characters, the humor, the action, the Monarch and his henchmen, the lore and developing plotlines as the show went on. Like what said it took a bit for it to find it's footing
