You dare insult the Emperor in such ways
Wow, Steven Universe, I never thought of it like that...
>Orks vs Gems
Fuck yes
Resource crisis was caused by Pinks Death though
Shit would have been fine and dandy if the chaos gods didn't fuck shit up by splitting the primarchs up at birth
>peer pressure
That was full-on daemonic taint, not peer pressure. Lorgar didn't take any half measures with Horus's corruption, any more than he took any half measures with Angron's ascension.
This. Interrex apologists get fucked, they were going to be catalysts for the Warp.
I love high Charisma stat charatcers who solve their problems via Talk-No-Jutso but SU did it in all the wrong ways.
Are there any good comics and cartoons about this? So far all I've seen that filled that void is Better Call Saul and Dark Crystal (which doesn't at all focus on that but Chamberlain is very based in that regard).
Yeah, can you imagine if one of the Interrex let one of its eighteen most powerful generals just swing that thing around instead? Thank god the Emperor warned the very people that were most likely to fight chaos about how to fight them and the Primarchs never did any dumb shit like that.
In the Emperor's dubious defense, he did warn the Primarchs about the dangers of the Warp, and he did tell them he was bailing on the Crusade in order to rid those dangers from it wholesale. He just didn't foresee that Chaos had done an end-run around his warnings through Lorgar and his two testicles Erebus and Kor Phaeron. I think Ra Endymion put it best when he said the Custodes biggest regret was not putting Lorgar in the ground at Monarchia, because he was a "witch-king" rife with corruption from the start.
Just how much would she enjoy the slaughter of 40k
