What's the better Transformers origin to you, Quints or Primus

how do you figure?

what if it's like Animated(?) where the bots were the working class and the cons the military class who decide to stage a coup

I'm just spitballing here I've given this absolutely sero thought until now,

They were originally parts of pantheons of light and darkness. The One Above All/The Presence/Omnicron tasked the Pantheon of light with defeating the pantheon of darkness. All the others in the Pantheon win their fights and ascend but Primus can't so he materializes in the physical world and gets both himself and Unicron trapped in empty planets forever.

Animated does bring forward some unfortunate implications so let's not go with that either.

It's dumb to have the "gritty" version of the origin end up creating the deity version especially since it leaves the question of what created the Quintessons and if you go another way with it.
If Primus isn't a deity what is he? This is why IDW Primus was stupid

I feel like the Quints are still on a mortal level, and I wouldn't want another mortal(s) creating a god like being scenario.

There's no Quintessons but Autobots and Decepticons are deliberately separate races. The Autobots used the Allspark to give life to war machines (that were discarded once the war ended) and exiled the Decepticons out of Cybertron. Both Autobots and Decepticons hate organics and have colonized alien worlds.
Simply put, this is Transformers but both sides are assholes and racist.
