No, we would still comply like fucking dogs, because larping tuff guy is one thing, not getting glassed from orbit is another. Literally none of the things you brought up AFTER moving the goalposts even apply when orbital death is on the table.
The RDA didn't even have orbital strike capabilities. They're still a private corporation bound by the law. Their mercs are a security force with the singular official mission to defend their operations, not to act as an imperialistic invasion force. Private corporations are explicitly not allowed access to WMDs (fuckoff big gunship notwithstanding) and in case you didn't notice, interstellar ships are really fucking expensive. Not to mention that orbital bombardment would bring extremely high risks to the fucking minerals you're after.
