Wait, so is it true that Grant is dead in season 2? Because I don't remember that interview, just that he's somewhere doing his own thing and that he exists.

Grant is where he belongs

In the bucket of irrelevancy

I'm fine with him never playing the games and fine with the show being a drastic departure.

But it's still not GOOD. It's boring, ugly, quippy, grimderp try-hard nonsense that is painful to watch, featuring a cast of utterly unlikable characters treading water in a grey crapsack world.

Japan included the Christian iconography because they see it the same way we see Greek mythology. The main point of the game was still always to watch a tiny pixel wail on other tiny pixels. The show has to give you a reason to care about the characters and a ragtag group of underdogs is a winning formula.

>Alucard used to be one of my favourite video game heroes
Your favorite hero was a cardboard cutout with no personality or defining features besides for "he vampire and dracula backwards :O"

It would be hard but first someone has to prove that "raping the source material" took place

Because it hasn't

so I have finished it and have to ask, where it the subtlety? everything was telegraphed from a mile away. This happen because the plot needs them or because "wont it be cool". Why the fuck would the judge not kill the priest and give adventurers clues to uncover his crimes.

I really hate how true this all is. The only thing that has done justice to the Castlevania franchise recently was Smash.
