stop

Other than the title track it's objectively bad

>tfw your shitty bait thread won’t take off

I literally can't think of a single songwriter who has more good albums than Van Morrison.

Outside of Dylan and Cohen who even comes close?

Stick to Drake dumbass

shit taste, it's an 8.5/10 album

Dylan is dogshit and Cohen only has two decent albums.

Tom Waits and Bruce Springsteen are the only ones who come close for me.

Neil Young count?

Can someone red pill me on madame George? I love every other song on that album but I can’t stand Madame George for some reason

van morrison has never made anything worth listening to, let alone liking

Metallica - Kill em all
Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures

Imagine listening to Sweet Thing and thinking it’s the greatest thing you’ve ever heard

You're a simpleton. Closer is their more realized album and was infinitely more successful.

woo lad, nice try

Tom is great but was and is a niche artist, and Bruce got sloppy at times.

Another one that suffers from too much output

Yeah, he has a lot of good ones too. I prefer Van's more free-jazz influenced compositions to Young's straightforward folk-rock approach though.

>Bruce got sloppy at times
Well, Van Morrison turned into a boring cabaret singer, so everyone has their flaws.

>Another one that suffers from too much output
and Dylan doesn't?

Yes like Young, too much average outweighs the great. But time hasn't been kind to Bruce and his last 30 years are scattershot.
Outside of the last 10 years of his attempts at crooner shit Dylan holds up. Young releases an album every year complaining about the current state of affairs that makes his shit dated the day after it comes out.

And it stoned me and into the mystic are great songs mang

post-punk has a lot of them as I see

He had a pretty good run of albums from '95 to '07 with Ghost of Tom Joad and Seeger Sessions being genuinely great albums.

God this thread is full of brainlet. Van Morrison is the most significant artist of his generation. Just asl Scaruffi.

That post didn't age well
