Listen to Il Balletto di Bronzo.

based OP, OP

>Bo Hansson
Incredibly based

>why yes, I do think Karn Evil 9 is the best Emerson Lake And Palmer song, as a matter of fact Brain Salad Surgery is their best album, how could you tell

I think Brain Salad Surgery gets a lot of undeserved hate, but saying it's better than Tarkus is pushing it.

Could you guys tone it down with the reddit memes for once?

sorry for wanting an underage-free space

brain salad surgery is the best elp album

wrong. it's trilogy

>removes the autistic moaning ∞
ahh perfect
also altamont sounds a lot like magma

Porcupine Tree were actually a pretty good group when Steven wasn't trying to write that awful sweaty prog-buttrock garbage

Even at their lowest, Porcupine Tree were still better than To the Bone.

post your most recent listen

my computer went to shit during the listen so I definitely didn't give it full attention. wasn't a huge fan of the vocals and the instrumentals were a little too repetitive

5/5

What are some top tier prog recs that are either

1. Instrumental
2. Don't have vocalists that sound like nerdy dweebs but are more passionate, powerful

I've jammed KC, Genesis, Yes, VDGG, Pink Floyd, Robert Wyatt, Camel, Can, Magma, Gentle Giant, Rush and Jethro Tull. Although the instrumentals are fantastic and very creative, the vocals are just the biggest turn off.

tell me some vocalist you like first

Red Queen to Gryphon Three is instrumental.

Top of my head:

Johnny Cash
Morrissey (The Smiths)
Blind Willie Johnson
Chino Moreno (Deftones)
Attila Csihar (Mayhem)
Jon Chang (buncha grind bands)
90s RnB/Garage/House/Eurodance divas in general
Beyonce
Dua Lipa
Lingua Ignota
Female singer from Comus
Female singer from Natural Snow Buildings
Cool will peep thanks

Secret Oyster

The snow goose by camel is instrumental
brand x
mahavishnu orchestra
some zappa albums (hot rats)
national health
tubular bells

His new stuff is awful.

Liquid tension experiment

∞ is almost a chore to listen to, and is the only thing that stops 6 6 6 from being a 10/10

What's your all time favorite prog record?

mine is pic related

Eden Rose - On the Way to Eden
Renaissance - Scheherazade and Other Stories

>Natural Snow Buildings
Good taste.

Remember the Future without a doubt. Tab in the Ocean is also great, but RTF is just too good to even be real.
