Never understood what everyone sees in him. Rec me one song that'll turn me into a fan.

Idiot Wind
similar to a tumbling pebble
you have to have a decent context for the folk tradition to fully understand his significance. he was a very talented songwriter that respected and continued the folk tradition whilst also evolving it (e.g. by involving more complex rock-influenced instrumentation).
not one of his rock songs, but i recommend boots of spanish leather.

>could be a strokes song
im so glad im not the only person that thought this. i figured i was a fucking retard for thinking this
Heeeeyyy mr. Tambourine man play a song for me
I'm not sleepy and there is no place I'm going to
OP here
Not my cup of tea - just sounds like random noodling/rambling. Lyrics are cool but the music itself doesn't do much for me
One of the few I'd already heard which admittedly I like
I like this one thanks!
Also very nice
Surprisingly nice - i didn't expect his recent(ish) stuff to be this good
OP again - I'm starting to think I don't like his more rock-type songs as much. The songs are repetitive and all sound the same; out of tune & out of time guitar, annoying electric piano chords wailing in the background. I quite like the acoustic stuff though
Here’s another modern Bob one, one of my favourites.
Blowing in the Wind
Don't Think Twice, It's Alright
some of his best folk songs
Try this version of idiot wind

visions of johanna?
His early material until another side, then listen to Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell

this song was the game changer with bob Dylan for me.
Try walk on the wild side
just like achilles
you need to open up to liking bob Dylan, he is better than any music I’ve ever heard lol
from what i've noticed, most people dont like bob dylan until they get into a month long phase of just listening to bob dylan. I started with freewheelin and eventually decided to check out the rest of his shit.
How do you not like or even know of bob Dylan
What is wrong with the world today lol
i love dylan but hate this song desu
kek imagine him doing that song
try these
time is an ocean but it ends at the shore, you may not see me tomorrow
