0,5/5 it's pretty easy to make the mix so that the bass doesn't eat everything else up. that should probably be the 1st thing on your ilist to learn if you wanna make trap (why tho)
and I don't like your vocals. also, the beat melody is as generic as it comes

This has a lot of atmosphere I really dig it, needs some lead elements though, or more effects that catch the ear but they dont have to be defined lead melodies, just to keep interest
Your voice is great, musically it accomplishes everything it should while also staying interesting, has that 00's pop feel with some Beatles mixed in HOWEVER the mix is muddy and lack luster, the dynamics in the music are lost. Seriously it really needs a good mix then it would be 10/10 for this genre.

why would you trade cloud storage as payment? cloud storage is used to store things that you pay for, it's ineffective as a currency
and why do cyber-enhanced super humans need to feast on human flesh? sure, it sounds edgy, but if they're cyber enhanced then what's the point of that? why don't they feed on oil and lentils?
also, "techno-political neo-society?" the "neo" is repetitive there. your presentation is lacking dubbi

Rating everyone doesn't seem like the best idea, considering for some genres/styles someone may just not be interested and not have much productive to say. But these are songs I haven't heard that seemed interesting.
Recs
4, I like how hazy the beat is and that lead vocal sample is very soothing, I just wish it were a bit longer
3.5, the use of soundplay is very effective in creating the atmosphere you've conjured up on this track, and overall this feels blissful and nice but doesn't leave much of a definitive impression.
4.5, I love this quite a bit. It's a hypnotic, multifaceted, serene soundscape that had me enveloped for almost the entire listen. I particularly enjoyed the last bit, it feels like a proper climax, like everything before it was getting me ready for this beautiful moment in the song. Good job.
>why do cyber-enhanced super humans need to feast on human flesh?
You really don't know what's going on in the world huh? You sit around in your bedroom with your noodle arms doing nothing and learning nothing.

You should try out working with a vocoder using really experimental settings.
This is the only legitimate reason to make music
Not bad bro
Since you're thinking lofi is a good thing to post I'm going to teach you a little history lesson.
Years ago the music industry
was deregulated and lofi became a
thing. So I dunno what you think
you're doing by being a legit
response to the things real
musicians like me do to stop the
degeneration of music. And for real
bro, lofi? Come on......Bro, "lofi"
isn't a safeword to avoid criticism
on EQing and mastering. It's not
just to clean up sound quality, EQ is
to make space for all the elements
to fit together. If multiple elements
of a mix occupy similar frequency
ranges and attempt to fit into the
same space, the result will often
sound muddy, and basically just a
MESS, it doesn't sound "indie" or
whatever you shmucks say its like,
its just embarrassing.
Me
You want to be like me in every way.
Not bad
Try exploring the classical elements of your music. Ambient is lazy, drop that style.
>Spotify
Bros.. no offence bros but spotify
will destroy your career, or I
should say your attempt at
one before it even begins.
Spotify's whole gameplan is
to securely steal music from
artists and then when that
artist disappears they rebrand
the music under a new name.
Basically like what the industry
did with Lady GaGa but now it's
Spotify doing it and no one knows.
I taught this guy a lot. He's good
SKIP
The piano is good
You should try to show more personality bro. I don't like the lukewarm posters.
Classic
1st step: Save your project as a .txt document
2nd step: Open .txt document in notepad
3rd step: Write in the mixing you want
(example:
"bass +2Hz ,
Hi-hats left speaker only. etc)
4th step: Save .txt document as aud. file
use a conversion program if needbe
5th step: Open .aud file in Audacity .
6th step: Enjoy
You now have a perfect mix!

The problem I have with 99% of "musicians" who sample other people's work is LONGG.
The big thing is with these digital sound sampling devices, back in the day my sh!t was ANALOG bro, do you even know what analog means? Whatever, anyway these digital systems are, we are told, music mimics par excellence, able to render the whole orchestral panoply, plus all that grunts, or squeaks.
The noun "sample" is, in our comodified culture,pre-fixed by the adjective free, FREE. as in STEALING. So now you're
lying about being an artist and if one is to consider predicating this subject, perhaps some thinking aloud on what is not allowable auditory appropriation is to be heard.
Some of you, current and potential samplerists are confused, I KNOW you're confused, and it's about the extent to which you can legally borrow from the ingredients of other people's sonic manifestations. Is a musical property properly private, and when and how does one trespass upon it? Like myself, you may covet something similar to a particular chord played and recorded singularly well by the strings of the estimable Eastman Rochester Orchestra on a long-deleted Mercury Living Presence LP of Charles Ives' Symphony #3 and you're thinking "Oh no, welp here's another song down the DRAIN"!

3. structure is there. would like to see some delay dialed in on the lead/ more fx.
4. cool rhythms. might want to add secondary kick on top of the break patters or a compressor on kick. high end overpowers low end at times. high energy cool dance stuff.
4.5 big room. good use of fx.

- definitely will listen again EQ is orgasmic
- maybe make a section not so loud
not my vibe sounds a little muddy but just my opinion

Finish setting up your soundcloud account. Also, This is ok, but I have a few tips for you to make your music really "pop":
1. EQ is really good for sorting out different sounds sonically. It would be especially good for you since you'd be able to filter out some of those annoying guitars and the voice so that the lyrics are actually comprehensible.
2. MIXING!!! It's absolutely important that you mix your tracks so that everything is clear and audible, EQing is good too but mixing is definitely key
3. MELODY! It's very important that your music actually have some kind of melody, otherwise it's repetitive garbage that will be instantly forgotten to the annals of time. A good way to write a pretty melody is to study music theory, or to have musical talent, or creative ability, or to be actually good at music, as opposed to a knob fiddler on fl or whatever you use.
4. Your bassline could be better. It's true, you rely too heavily on single, long-noted bass lines, but harmony doesn't have to be such a monolithic thing, rather than amping the volume of the bass to make it stand out, you could try using contrapuntal techniques to really make the songs tie together.
Try experimenting with Extra Tone (the genre)

4/5 pretty cool remix, the vocals are maybe a little too drenched in reverb, but honestly, this is sick. The panning vocals at the end are really nice. Love the really bright keys and pads
2.5/5 The beat's dark and atmospheric and sounds kinda cool, but I can't really get behind the vocals
5/5 Good shit, love the haunted, twisted horn and laughing(?) samples. The piano is really nice as well, not overly dark, but not uplifting either. It sounds like being trapped in limbo in a ghost town in the 20's.
