Is Nine Inch Nails at Woodstock 1994 the best live rock performance of the 90s?
Is Nine Inch Nails at Woodstock 1994 the best live rock performance of the 90s?
lol
Anything at Woodstock instantly should not count as the best live anything.
tryhard faggot
Seriously dumb opinion. 99 was a shitfest but Woodstock 94 was a brilliant festival.
I AM 90'S INCARNATE
>The two main elements, a virtual reality machine and a spinning display of severed heads called the Tree of No Cares, were set up on either side of the stage. The VR apparatus, into which Ogre occasionally went throughout the performance, represented his addiction and eventually came to mutate him. The backing film was timed so that whenever Ogre entered the machine, his face would appear onscreen and the audience could watch as something attacked and tortured him. Each time Ogre emerged from the apparatus, he would be altered.
Also a great contender
go be a zoomer somewhere else, faggot
That sounds retarded.
It was pretty cool actually.
holy fuck, not even marilyn manson ripped off rozz williams and alice cooper, but also he took a lot of ogre.
your opinion is shit and you should kys
>forgot about this
Kings of rock, Moscow 91? Say what you will about it but Metallica's part was fucking amazing
99 was great and actually represented how gen x felt at that time.
95 was the fakest shit. Thank god the fences fell over.
How the fuck did moscow even happen?
the grand ol US of A wanted to spread american culture to Russia (formerly USSR) and thus enlisted four of the biggest rockbands at the time in the US. Probably more to it but Idk much else
I really dug Blind Melon, watched the whole thing live on one of those old shitty big screens.
I find Nine Inch Nails mind numbingly boring.
I dont know, it's something about their compositional style that just doesnt do anything for me. It sounds like something composed by someone who just recently picked up a guitar or learnt playing triads on a keyboard, but never managed to compose something satisfactory within itself, so they needed to dress it up with synths, distorted guitars and effects.
At least not their earlier work, they managed to compose some decent songs later on but their early stuff just sound like underdeveloped musical ideas that got dressed up.
How much mud were you covered in?
I mean something like pic related, it was broadcast live on MTV.
Wew I remember having something like this.
Literally gave you cancer, the old CRTs.
Never had one myself, but my oldest friend in life (RIP) did.
My uncle still uses his giant CRT TV in his living room. Thing is half a car size.
That's pretty much what fren had, I couldn't find a more similar photo. It was one of the original white, textured screens. Fuckin' huge. The image was pretty pale on them.
The image is fucking horrendous on my uncle's too.
Now THAT's a Television. They sure don't make 'em like that anynore.
Yeah, when they first hit and a handful of people got them I wondered why, the size was totally stymied by lack of res. It was still breddy cool to watch that show on tho, he had it ran through a stereo for sound.
It's amazing how I still think of that as true TV in my mind and we had LCDs before I was 10. I wonder how younger kids think of TVs. They probably never seen a CRT nowadays.
Trent is a really basic piano/guitar player, but an incredibly creative engineer with a pop sensitivity
True, 95 was the fakest shit. Good thing it happened in 94, idiot.
