Mokum Records has a really good collection of music of this genre. I also recently got recommended dj technorch which has more of a early gabber sound but also sounding fresher and with more of a focus on synths.

Oh actually I have been to a dance club on two occasions on two occasions when I was in college. I didn't stay long though. The first one was just playing shitty rap music. I remember I went outside with my friend and some fat loud gay guy was sort of making fun of me but my friend came to my defense. He's a good guy.
On the other occasion I was had no friends with me and I vaguely remember they actually played this house track with a deep bass that sounded pretty cool.

I have tried it a couple times and it felt nice but apparently I didn't do enough to get super high and dance around or anything. It just made me feel happy and I felt like talking to people. It was fun but it wasn't strong enough to be amazing or like mind blowing or anything.
