It's obviously John. Giles Martin confirmed this. The fact that there's people who think that it's Paul is infuriating.
i dont see how its john at all
I’m pretty sure the dude who remastered Sgt. Pepper confirmed that it’s Paul
I’ve analyzed this over the years. There’s a 40% chance it’s John and a 60% chance it’s Paul mimicking John’s voice
because it sounds exactly like john
no, he confirmed it was john

This is certainly Paul. You can even hear him inhale right after he finishes dream to prep for the ahhhhs

This is what I'm inclined to believe. Only starting reading this debate about a month ago and that's the answer I've come up with. Could be George, I always thought Taxman was just John and Paul singing together.
I was just thinking about this in my car 2 hours ago. I always thought it was John but recently entertained the idea that it was Paul and eventually came back to thinking it's John.
Giles Martin doesn't know shit about music. If you listened to the new remixes you'd know this.
Fuck. All my life I thought it was John but it's clearly Paul. I don't know how to feel about this
John definitely.
Actually I just relistened to the song with the vocal turned up and now I think it's actually Paul. The voice seems too clear in that high of a range to be John, unless it's been compressed heavily or the track is turned up way up. No, now I'm listening to it again and it sounds like it could be John. Goddamnit. It definitely sounds like the kind of melody Paul would sing, but the tone so subtly sounds like John's while STILL sounding like Paul's
geoff emerick, their engineer also confirmed it to be john.
he's preparing for the high "oooohs" not the "ahhhhs"
it's john, you idiots
>It's Paul per Sam Okell the guy who did most of the physical re-mixing of Sgt Pepper for the 50th Anniversary Edition. See Sound on Sound Magazine August 2017 Edition in an interview with Sam and Giles where Sam explains in detail about the 4 tracks of Paul's vocal, specifically the 4th vocal track which contains the Aahs and shows the "Aah" vocal delay track below it. There are also photos of the Pro Tools mixing screen showing the whole mix session so you can see the 4 tracks and vocal delay track he's talking about if you enlarge it.
>"“Paul’s main vocal track is in stereo, because we gave it some spread with the Waves S1 Stereo Imaging plug-in, so it has a different sound than John’s lead. We also split off two little bits to be able to pan them left and right. His fourth vocal track is the ‘aaah’ section, and below it is an ‘Aah delay’ aux track. "

It's clearly John, with Paul wooing in the background
>"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, ahhhhhhhhhhhhh,ahhhhhhhhhhh"
Yep, another granny moment from Paul
its john you idiots
How the fuck is this a debate it is obv john
That's what I was thinking
Why are faggots pretending it’s anyone but John?
Because it’s Paul’s section so why would John be on it? Also the melody is almost 100% a Paul melody.
doesn't sound like john at all
I was at the studio sessions and can confirm it's Pete Best
Lennon had the better voice and authored the most iconic moments of their catalog, cope
fucking retards it's obviously thom singing that part
I sang that part
