because the limitations of a website's rating system shouldn't prevent the use of the 5 stars, instead, the 5 star rating is used as an obvious placeholder as a near perfect rating. also, how could a song or album hold zero value at all, as you said in ? I think it's more paradoxical and retarded to say something that exists holds zero value than something being assigned a placeholder that implies a perfect value though realistically is near perfect.
