Gen Z was born either right before or right into the 9/11 world. Our childhoods were tarnished by war, a divided America, the economy collapsing, the false hope of Obama, and Gen X and/or xennial parents who barely knew how to raise us as their boomer parents barely raised them.
Jah taught us it was okay to scream, it was okay to cry, and it was okay to see the world as a dark and unforgiving place, because that's all we knew it as being. He showed us it was okay to be yourself even if you weren't perfect, and not to let any obstacles get in your way.
