Is "making it" in music seriously just about pure fucking luck? You read stories about a lot of people who were in bands who hit it big, or these days rappers who blow up and get a hit song, and it seems like a total fucking crapshoot. A lot of musicians before they hit it big are just working shitty minimum wage jobs and are total fucking losers, then one day they find themselves with a record deal, or I guess in 2020 its one day they wake up and their song is blowing up in the viral charts. They go from "total loser bum who nobody respects" to "God among men who made it in life" in a matter of months, weeks, or even DAYS. Is it seriously just pure luck? It doesn't seem fair.
Is "making it" in music seriously just about pure fucking luck...
stop caring about what others think of you and "success", it's pathetic
sure
whatever
But it isn't fair. There are guys out there who work minimum wage jobs and are total nobodies, then one day their shitty music career randomly blows up, and a few months later they're performing at festivals. They go from "loser who people laugh at" to someone who gets worshipped as a God and who every woman wants to have sex with, in literal months. That's not fair. Why cant it happen to me?
effort and talent dont mean shit you fucking retard. the entire world is chaos and circumstance and you;re bitching about highschool girls not sharing your shitty fucking lofi ambient music
yeah life isn't fair, grow the fuck up
>Why cant it happen to me?
Who says you deserve it?
I just am astounded by the fact that everything in music is just a random fucking dice roll. You can walk into mcdonalds one day and get served by some loser with a bum ass haircut. And then 1 year later that guy could have his shitty rap song or EDM track blow up on spotify, then he's playing festivals and making millions and getting worshipped like a god. Why does that happen? Why dont i get to be worshipped as god?
Retard
Why?
