What do you think of Mark Kozelek and Mark Kozelek projects?
What do you think of Mark Kozelek and Mark Kozelek projects?
very musically mediocre
He's the best songwriter of the past fifty years
big brain music for big brain people
Hes based, i like the song where someone dies
I’m listening to them now because of that thread yesterday telling me to listen to Mark Kozalek and Mark Kozalek projects.
What'd you say, bitch? I'd love to see you talk shit on Mark Kozelek in front of me, in person, but you're too much of a pussy. You'll sit behind your computer screen all day, posting harsh judgements on literal gods, and then when that bores you, you'll pull up a tab of sissy hypno porn before going to bed. I'm calling you out, fuckhead. Right here, right now. Make your stance.
You guys think you could take him in a fight?
nope
Dude watches a lot of boxing. He knows all the moves.
RHP best group of the 90s
SKM best group of the 00's.
long kozelek!
Benji is the most human album ive ever heard, easily best album of 2010
I like the song about cooming. He should write more songs like that.
Yes, red hot peppers were pretty good
koz is god
You know I don't spend days like this, caught up in lost times of youth that I miss. Can almost hear rollercoasters, see sailboats in the sea, hear noise and screaming weaving in and out of happy music box sounds.
What do you know? SKM best group of the '10s as well.
should I listen to red house painters
Yes, they're incredible. Start with Down Colorful Hill and progress from there.
Only if you can handle tah feels...
FUCK PANERA BREAD

Mark "Based" Kozelek
Kewl meme man, so funny...
whatre his best few songs since benji?
i'm not joking.
>songs
That's actually a hard question because his albums have become these long ramblecore pieces and it's increasingly hard to recommend specific songs. Common As Light and Love Are Red Valleys of Blood tends to be the most celebrated album of the post-Benji phase of his career.
>Common As Light and Love Are Red Valleys of Blood
whats a good introductory song for this album?
>Dude watches boxing.
>knows all the moves.
He's a fat fucking slob.
That's difficult to answer because they're all 7+ minute story/diary songs with lots of rambling and metacommentary. I think Philadelphia Cop is pretty funny so maybe that in terms of accessibility.
Like the other user said, it's difficult to suggest. But as someone who loves all Kozelek-core and never paid much attention to anything past Benji, I just drove around and listened to the first two tracks off that album. Chili Lemon Peanuts was great and that's where the fun in his Ramblecore phase really lies.
