Why do people forget this album right here exists?
Yes, I understand her other masterpiece came the same year, but this is so much more interesting and raw

chile has the most interesting, diverse, daring and engaging indie music in all the latinsphere. the shoegaze is really good too, the electronic, ambient and noise scene is great. the cumbia is really good too, they have innovated a lot, only rivaled by argentinians (colombians are still stuck in the 60s). the rock sucks a lot. i think the metal scene is has some pretty rspected acts worldwide but i dont listent to that trash, so i wouldnt know further.

argentinians used to rule, but now they have some really awful bands. mexico doesnt exist. brazil is like a different planet.

t. el chileno.

you're biased

Lo mismo que hicieron en todo el mundo. La diferencia es que en Argentina hay gente cagandose de hambre y problemas generalmente mas importantes que los pronombres que la gente usa.

did she compose anything? did she?
NOOOOOOOOOOOO SHE DIDNT
SHES A GLORIFIED MIDI SEQUENCER FUCK OFF HERE, THIS IS A BANDS THREAD, NOT PERFORMER OF OTHER PEOPLES MUSIC THREAD.

Performance is an absolutely underrated aspect of music in this day and age and failing to appreciate the skill it takes to masterfully execute complex Mozart or Chopin compositions while also adding on your own style in expressive legato is a failure of the modern day normie and his pathetic zeitgeist of consumerism. Sorry but being a prolific virtuoso is far more admirable and impressive than being a "songwriter" of much of the trash that Yas Forums listens to.

lmao virtuosos will be replaced by machines within this decade

just like a woman in her 30s that doesnt have kids, a super talented musician that is unable to ever get the tingle to do their own music just feels and strikes as wrong. somethings missing there.

and dont get started into consumerism or whatever. virtuosos are literally the highest point of consumerism theyre machines trained to generically perform tried and tested memes for a decadent elite that craves that lifestyle. they dont add ANY of the local culture to the performances, they just become some euro embassador in their own country, thus trying to prove to the rest of the world "look we're human and cultured too XD".

youtube.com/watch?v=ntulzZ2sSqE

criminally underrated

And songwriting will be replaced by machines the decade after that. Is there a point?

kino

>"expressive legato"

what does that even mean
did you just learn the word "legato" user?

todos perdem.

>virtuosos are literally the highest point of consumerism

There's a decent point in there but saying that virtuosos are more embedded in materialist consumerism than most pop/mainstream hip hop artists is absolute nonsense

>trained to generically perform

Many, yes. All, no. Jazz virutosos are an obvious example since they're mainly huge autists for improvising and experimentation. Unfortunately such creative ambitions are less common in the neo-classical world
