wtf i thought it was a pig's head this whole time

I never saw the pig's head, I always thought it was a skull and crossbones.

After staring at it for some time I can now see the pig head. Crazy...

>BTFO's Gorguts at their own game

good but it doesn't even touch obscura

i wouldn't even call it death metal desu, that album is in a league of its own

fuck off piero

>implying 2/3's of that album alone doesn't BTFO Gorguts' entire discography

what's this?

Pyrrhon - The Mother of Virtues

pitchfork meme metal

Gayfork doesn't even like Pyrrhon all that much, fuck ofg

this is shit

imagine taking recommendations from a wop pedo who thinks Roots is the best Sepultura album

on a scale of 1 to yowie how listenable is this?

if an """extreme metal""" album has been reviewed by pitchfork then its practically guaranteed to be fucking garbage, and this is no expection

He rates it so high because of the impact it had. Same thing with Korn even though their music is crappy.

korn's s/t is good yhu bitch

yowie zowie

it's fucking amazing, the old wop was right on giving it a high score desu

it sounds thin and weak much like their fans

>derivative garbage
>impact

at least post the superior Gorguts album

that's not Colored Sands, retard

explain why its superior

because he's probably one of those Gorguts fans that mostly enjoys old-school DM but thought Obscura was too weird for his taste

Name a single band influenced by Pyrrhon

>influence means it’s good

I always though it's snake's head with bones

-dissonance actually sounds fuckin good instead of random
-bullshit "ambient" pick scrapes and string taps are absent
-better production (especially the low end)
-subtle dissonant melody which make riffs memorable
-much better songwriting, not just random riffs chained together (I love weird and creative metal music, but song structures on obscura feel random instead of weird)
-fewer songs-less filler parts
-the only negative thing is the length of the songs

It has Inverted.
