This photo is from their last performance, about seven months before he died. He’s clearly fatter than he is in the last picture of him or in his more iconic look, but he’s not as fat as he is in OPs pic

The photo in the OP was taken in Paris, in fact by the same photographer who took Jim Morrison’s Paris trip began in March and ended in July, when he died.
That means, assuming he arrived in Paris looking like OPs pic, he went from looking like a fatass bathtub to his usual skinny look in four months. He also would have had to gain the weight between the final show in December and the beginning of the Paris trip, so that’s three months to gain all that weight!
What the fuck? Did he quit cocaine and eat nothing but cheeseburgers after that last show, then switched to eating nothing but amphetamines once he arrived in Paris? How is that transformation in that timeframe physically possible?
