As far as the first band is concerned, I'm guessing it has a lot to do with the fact that an extremely autistic person spams it 24/7.

Other than that, I suppose it could have something to with the fact that those musicians have terrible taste. They're technically skilled (relative to most metal musicians, at least), but they're art is vapid and shallow. Listening to one of their albums is akin to eating candy for a meal -- it may satisfy your hunger for a short time, but it's not nutritious and would do more harm than good if you had it for every meal.
