I'm a big pleb, so recc pls
Chart thread: recc,rate,dont lazypost
What I usually do is pick a genre I want to get into and then go to RYM and check out their charts for the genre and start there.
the I'm 16 and I browse twitter starter pack
pleb is a useless word, but i do hate that FJM album a lot
try Baja - Maps / Systemalheur, because it uses similar techniques to The Lemon of Pink but its longer and gives more space to atmosphere (and is less folky)
leafyisgreen is soooooooo funny
Filthyfrank also makes le kek
skrrt skrrt (obligatory black cultural appropriation)
ahegao
there are individual albums I like a lot here but your taste is all over the fucking place so it's difficult to give a good rec.
>John Maus - Screen Memories
>Boards of Canada - In a Beautiful Place Out In The Country EP
Not much I'm familiar with here but give Fiona Apple's Extraordinary Machine a listen if you haven't already
third eye foundation - the dark
+ King Crimson, Lou Reed, Bonnie Billy
+ Board of Canada, Burial, Aphex Twin, OPN
+ the newfound interest in connecticut,
> no lazy posting
My only rec for you is to get the fuck off of rym my dude, and develop a real taste. Believe it or not that site is very similar to like a top 40 pop chart, where accessible music with mass appeal moves to the top. You have to dig if you want to get past the normie shit
some decent, most bad
get into some RDJ
Aphex Twin - SAW 85-92
too based
Been getting into Classics by AFX recently as well, his old acid tracks are so good.
Madlib - Shades of Blue
Deepchord - Liumin
Big Bud - Infinity + Infinity
Some very good choices here, but ultimately monotonous and therefore not very interesting chart
Robots Don't Cry - Tour CD-R
Source Direct - Secret Liaison, Complexities
Culprate - Deliverance
>Been getting into Classics by AFX recently as well, his old acid tracks are so good.
definitely check out his Caustic Window stuff then, similar sort of sound
My rec for you is that we should be friends, this is all pretty based
If you haven’t check out the bands Gouge away, la luna, envy, Cloud rat, mahria, and maybe the album burn piano island burn by the blood brothers, off the top of my head. I imagine anyone who likes screamo would also be really into black metal, so maybe check out blackened punk bands like bone awl, ilmestys, or raw moon
ty! i actually am really into black metal
meaningless leaning mess is one of my favorite albums i just made this chart cus im looking for emo recs
Weekly listens, or thereabouts.
That Thirlwell album was just released today but I've already heard it a few times. It's very good.
If you like that cowboy bebop album you should check out a lot of the jazz from my chart as well. Especially Jackie Mclean and Thelonious Monk. Also try Maynard Ferguson since that's where Yoko got a lot of her inspiration.
God I fucking love seeing Munly on here. I never see that dude and he should be more known.
I would set myself on fire for you - Believes in Patterns
omd - dazzle ships
still life - from angry heads with skyward eyes
the beach bullies - we rule the universe
drill for absentee
bump
don't wanna rec anything to plebs, pseuds and trannies above me, sorry. R8, tho.
a rope
You have pretty good taste
Recs:
- John Fahey - Days Have Gone By, Vol:6
- Rival Consoles - Persona
- Miles Davis - Workin'
I like your taste in electronic music
Recs:
- Against all Logic - 2017 - 2019
- Nicolas Jaar - Cenizas
- Rival Consoles - Persona
I'll say it again, you have very good taste. Seeing that Miles Davis album on your chart kinda blows my mind. I don't see that album often on another persons favs.
Mogwai - Mogwai Young Team
Arca - Mutant
Pig Destroyer - Prowler In The Yard
Herbie Hancock - Head Hunters
George Clanton - Slide
The Go Betweens - 16 Lovers Lane
Ground Zero - 革命京劇 Revolutionary Pekinese Opera Ver.1.28 (Kakumeikyōgeki)
need recs lads
Venetian Snares - Chocolate Wheelchair Album
Bigger pleb than all of you, and that's not a bad thing. Most of these are albums I grew up with and that I associate with great memories.
pure comedy more like pure trash
another bloated, banal “we live in a society” album that has already been done countless times by people like roger waters
any grunge chart?
I'm genuinely not trying to be rude, but you're not a regular here, are you? Not saying that it's bad, but I seriously cannot imagine a Yas Forums regular being here for more than a year and having this taste
bladee
frankie knuckles
gucci mane
hybrid noisebloom
gesang der junglinge
a diploma
heres mine
Holy shit based af
