elevator jazz rock?
kinda glad no genre come form this and nobody ever tried to recreate this
>kinda glad no genre come form this
what the fuck are you talking about?
loveless wasn't the first shoegaze album, though
it literally wasn't even MBV's first shoegaze album
also, slowdive made a few shoegazey albums in the 90s
>and nobody ever tried to recreate this
MBV tried to recreate it 22 years later
The world is in desperate need of more too
>MBV tried to recreate it 22 years later
MBV is a completely different album than loveless and pretty sure Kevin Shields wouldn't try to "recreate" it. However i'm sure some other bands have tried.
i've listened to them back-to-back and it's very similar
some small differences, but still the same type of beast
to say it's "a completely different album" is ridiculous
Psychedelic orchestral jazz rock
Progressive Spoken Pop
Whatever that one Magma album's called
shut up r/etard
psychedelic ambient folk
i'm sure there's more like it but i don't know anything. i would appreciate any recommendations.
wow what a sick burn, how will i ever recover
based BTFOing that retard
>boring talk talk rip off is the only good post rock
>boring talk talk ripoff
thats redundant
Tyranny by The Voidz
you should try recovering from the massive head injury you endured as a baby instead
hell yeah dude. last track destroys. listened to it before asking this girl out and she rejected me LOL
he's being ironical you massive faggot.
>>boring boring the durutti column ripoff ripoff is the only good post rock
i disagree, i find this Bark Psychosis album a lot more intriguing than Talk Talk
It's because nobody knows how to recreate that sound. I mean sure Ride, Slowdive are technically in the same "genre" but they don't have this weird, woozy quality of Loveless.
Funny story from back in the '90s: my record store coworker bought this album when it first came out on tape. He listened to it and thought the tape was warped so he returned it. Later on he heard it on CD and realized that's just how the music was supposed to sound.
Spirit of Eden>Laughing Stock=Codename Dustsucker>Hex
Didn't know about his solo stuff, thanks for posting. Love extra life.
Lo-fi jazz rap instrumentals? The entire lo-fi beats community blatantly ripped off Nujabes' sound.
its similar in influences, but rather than being rock music, its, something else?
They sound nothing alike
