>vinyls
look who's talking

I love these little niggas

If you get your autism formally diagnosed there are people who can help you live a very fulfilling life OP

No bc there's a whole cassette culture featuring independent music you can only also get from their Bandcamp page. It's autistic but knowingly so therefore also fairly based.

>Are these things Reddit? I remember the day I realized it. I was at the record store, last winter, and I saw a guy wearing a fucking SWEATER and even worse, a fucking bullshit WINTER HAT! Like a BEANIE! I almost flipped the fuck out and called him a soi guzzling fuck right there! Fucking wearing a winter hat, how soi! Anyway the WORST part is, he was browsing old casettes and vinyls. That's what I was there to do, but after seeing that I went home and threw out every piece of physical music I owned. I DON'T LIKE ART! I'VE NEVER EATEN BRUNCH! I DON'T WEAR HATS! I DON'T!

collecting things is pure reddit

Buying "vinyls" is only reddit if you buy expensive new pressings

what about art? if you say ESPECIALLY art I might be a little crushed ngl

Why the fuck do vinyls still exist? Like why? I can understand the appeal and I get that collecting things is a nice experience and that music from let's say

nah cassettes are based and vinyl is cringe.
having a discman is based too, but only if you use headphones like pic related.
that’s what the cool kids used in the 00s.

just enjoy doing or collecting the things you enjoy without worrying about if it’s reddit or not.
if you truly enjoy them, you won’t care if some anonymous sperg calls you a redditor for doing it.

It would be far more based were it to be some things cassette exclusive, but allow people to self digitize and share.

Yes undiagnosed autistic white males such as OP generally look like that because nobody ever taught them how to self groom what’s your point

spotify is the reddit way of listening to music.

Please stop saying "vinyls"

What should I say instead?

Kek

Records.

See

Don't know about reddit but it's really children hobby (gotta catch em all) and it's always funny to read when people say "get a real hobby" and use collecting as example

Man who fucking cares? Buy whatever you want. It's your goddamn money.

Yeah but you know what's worse?
Opening up a record store named "unknown pleasures", having CD's in your store. Stocking New Order and JD but not stocking Hook & the light or Joy Division bootlegs.

That's pretty reddit bro.

Would I believe it?

Trash thread, quit begging for validation

It serves a purpose, but a very specific one: buy them if you’re in a thrift store or something, and it’s something you would have never thought to buy before. Rip it to your computer and enjoy your very slightly unique version of the album. I got my first Jeff Beck album like that, can’t listen to the normal version cause it sounds too clean and quiet.
