I love you guys and appreciate all the knowledge and tips I get from here. I'm sorry if I'm cranky in the mornings. I wish everyone here all the best.

Let's get a "guess that riff" going.

Starting with an easy one.

Darude - Sandstorm (unplugged '92)

Just like anything in life, some old things are still the best, but other newer things are better.

The best guitars are ones that just use the best materials, manufacturing techniques, and specs from over time.

was anyone else shocked how much smaller electric guitars are than acoustics when they got theirs?

A well taken care of high end vintage acoustic is better than a new high end acoustic but other than that it's a meme.

Did you not practice at all for the first two years? Serious question.

Christ. No.

I wonder if anyone has used roasted woods in new acoustics to replicate that aged thing in old acoustics

that sounds cool, what r you playing?

i was playing better than that after three months

use this guy's progress as an idea of how well you should be doing

>Three years

Sounds like one, or two if you only practice five minutes a day. Maybe guitar isn't your thing. Ever thought of trying bass?

Fuck you guys I sound exactly like James Hetfield

A Gibson Les Paul Standard and a Marshall Bluesbreaker

I was shocked at how big rachelf makes the Steinberger Spirit look. The thing is tiny in person.

Was a good deal, got it cheaper than a new Martin D18 which was what I intended to get originally.
