Josh "XXXtentacion" Onfroye

>tfw you remember the cathartic walks in the woods blazing and listening to XXX at night

college was super hard at the end but it I will always remember how this guy touched on my anger and frustration with the sounds of his music. I could relate to the feelings he had I guess.

This.

Jah meant more to Gen Z than Kurt Cobain meant to Gen X, or John Lennon meant to boomers. His music will be shown to have changed the world for the better.

Should we tell him?

>Jah meant more to Gen Z than Kurt Cobain meant to Gen X, or John Lennon meant to boomers. His music will be shown to have changed the world for the better.
you realize repeating something every single day doesn't make it true right

How is it not true?

not as famous or important for the culture he was a part of.

Untrue. Jah was extremely important in 2010s rap. He had and still has a die-hard fanbase which wasn't just inspired by his music but the wisdom he gave off as well. Name me one other artists from the 2010s who has had as much of a profound impact on the youth as Jah did.

KNO WHAT I'M SAYIN

his music has so much feeling
he was so talented, what the fuck

>this
Jah most definitely inspired all the post-2017 rap and probably will continue to influence people through the next decade. Whether you respect his music or not you cannot deny his influence over the modern scene of rap/popular music. Look at Billie Eilish, I personally am not a fan of her music but she has an undeniable influence from X and she's one of the largest pop stars around today.

Don't worry Vroes, everyone will call "Jah" a legend once his image becomes commodifiable and sold on cigarette lighters and handbags, just like Kurt.

>Billie Eilish
Doesn't make her own music. Please link some songs that are unmistakably inspired by XXX, preferably rap.

>has a song titled the day of his death to capitalize on his clout

are you retarded?

you have to pick one user

Clout demon. She didn't even know X in real life.

Lol, so he got some copycats that no one pays attention to. SO INFLUENTIAL!
Slutty Sonny had like 100k wives on his shit.
So you just proved my point.
So what you are saying is that she wasn't influenced by him but just capitalized on his death when it was hot news. Ok, you just proved my point.
She is not making her own music or marketing anyway so what ever.

To all the haters: X repented for being an abuser. He only abused others because he had been abused himself. Violence was the only language he knew. Do not slander him.

well, then I guess all's forgiven. Call the Pope, we have a new saint

A group of a couple hundred or even thousand white kids thinking they're listening to hip hop is not "an entire generation" you fucking retarded children. this loser will be swept under the rug with ever other Lil Whatever and Yung Nigga
