Hip Hop is too varied for one album to represent or. But if I can try. Maybe Low End Theory.
I only like rap when the backing instrumentals are good. If it’s just beats, it gets pretty boring.
came here to say this
Do samples from 80s songs count as backing instrumentals?
mmlp
i don't even think it's that great but it's probably the most surface level hip hop album out there, and i don't say that in a bad way
I’m still not going to listen to rap.
The Eminem Show
Pic related and Ready to Die got my friend into hip hop. He pretty much just listens to Gucci Mane nowadays tho lmao.
No body cares you pseudo intellectual
havent listened to a lot of rap really but doggystyle is fun
>aint no fun if the homie cant have none
Tribe aged like shit, don't @ me
>Maybe Low End Theory.
my favourite quest album, but actually if i was gonna pick a tribe album i'd pick people's travels. more accessible musically, some humourous tracks and 'skits' and generally easier going.
>late registration
again my favourite from that artist, but if i was gonna reccomend Kanye it would be MBTF... Runaway, Monster, All of the lights - again super accessible before getting into some of the deeper tracks.
But, if it was me I'd go with De La Soul 3 ft High. Super playful, really diverse musically but lots of recognisable samples and clever lyrically too.
i wont @ you (you're wrong tho) but im interested what would you pick?
Every normalfag likes rap now and you can't convince the rest.
I don't like rap but I like this, as well as Uneven Compromise
based
This was the only one i could stand for a long time as a rockist
this is for people who really don't like rap
>he thinks he’s an intellectual for listening to (c)rap

>>he thinks he’s an intellectual for not listening to rap
