based. curse of mankind re-sparked my interest in black metal, especially Den Ansiktlose

norwegian black metal is the only canon black metal.

First wave black metal is the only black metal that's metal and last I checked none of first wave is Norwegian.

actually Burzum would of been the most popular black metal band period if it weren't for Varg getting locked away for almost 2 decades. Every record before was a masterpiece.

Norwegian black metal is the only metal worth listening to, and even then it's only about 10% maximum of that which is worthwhile. Everything else is immature and mediocre in comparison, made for kids who like a never ending stream of chaotic racket, not music.

Yeah I don't like most of the Norwegian black metal scene but Burzum is different. Varg really achieved what he set out to do with Burzum supposedly being about putting you under a spell and relaxing music to drift off to at night.
