I've seen that "tag" for years now. it's always been fucking retarded, but I get where it comes from. yes, for adolescent males it does hit different when a girl with a cute voice is singing it. but people will actually say shit like "I like songs with female vocals" as part of their actual music taste. it's like saying "i like bands with hot singers"
