Re-Arranged

Full Nelson goes so fucking hard it isn't funny

I like that one song that incorporates the Mission Impossible theme into it's riff.

The Truth
Take a Look Around, originally featured on the Mission Impossible 2 soundtrack.

five posts, five different songs, yeah, I think LB is the fucking shit

My Generation

IT'S JUST ONE OF THOSE DAYS THAT YOU DON'T WANNA WAKE UP
EVERYBODY SUCKS
EVERYTHING IS FUCKED

Why don't more modern acts try to do the whole rap-rock shtick LP did? I see a lot of rappers flirt with the idea of rock and metal but it usually just boils down to having some lame guitar feedback in a trap beat, Wes Borland was a genuinely great guitar player.

too hard to choose so have some contenders from each album

>debut
stuck, stalemate
>so
just like this, rearranged, nobody like you
>starfish
my way, it'll be ok, boiler, hold on
>rmv
eat you alive, build a bridge, lonely world, creamer, let it go
>tuq
the priest
>cobra
bring it back, gold cobra, shotgun, walking away, loser, autotunage
>demos
don't remember/no control, when it rains, how do we get through this, relax, rib

Boiler

Niggers fuck my tight white sissy boy asshole

because nu metal is dead and people have been trying to revive it since 2014 lmao

Is that a leaked track from Stampede of the Disco Elephants?

But I've never seen anyone legit try to revive that sound. At best people just take surface level elements from the genre and settle with that. I've yet to hear a modern act that has genuine riffs and can do that balance between the heavy stuff, the melodic clean stuff and rap that some of the better nu-metal acts managed to do.

you already mentioned the problem, they don't have wes borland
you need an unconventional player to make it work

My favorite Lightning Bolt song is Colossus.

nu-metal is too carefree and edgy to linger around anymore, probably cause the world has gone soft. later generations will look back at the genre and cringe in horror rather than be inspired. Too bad, because it's good music.

Can't choose one but I've really been feeling Shotgun lately.

The one with John Ottos tightest of snares: my generation.

MY G-G-GENERATION

Furst post best post.

YOU WANT TO PLAY THAT GAME, BITCH?!

People unironically like Limp Bizkit now.

none I'm not a freshman in high school

yeah... people need to listen to REAL metal like Metallica and Pantera \m/ fuck these Limp Dick faggots

rock on brother

Dimebag had a shitty guitar tone, Wes Borland unironically is a better player than and has a better tone than Dimebag.

i was being ironic... idk why the dude above you thought I was being serious we're not in 2002 anymore lol

Bro have you heard of this new band W4TM? They have some SICK songs inspired by LB himself. Even in LBs latest album, he throws a reference at W4TM.

This song is MENTAL
