Now that the dust has well and truly settled can we all agree this album was actually kino as fuck? It's nice to have some genuinely abrasive noise rock getting some attention amongst all the zoomer pop and memerap bullshit that plagues our current music scene. Can't wait for their next album :)

Babby’s first industrial

>Now that the dust has well and truly settled
You mean now that the only man whose opinion matters reviewed it.

yup i liked it since first listening, plus i fell in love with satan in the wait, what a great song

I agree it's fucking awesome

No the production is exceptional on this one, separates it from other industrial albums imo

Fantastic album. Shame Yas Forums is so fucking contrarian.

good album but at times it just lacks riffs in favor of "atmosphere", which it could bridge the gap between these more effectively

Too busy relistening to Atomizer.

Daughters is as close to industrial as Radiohead is close to Serialist music.

based

False, but cute. At least you got to use the word Serialist amirite ?

doesn't even make sense dipshit

Ok industrial tourist. Tell me more about what I know and don't know and how Coil is your favorite band.
Because Daughters isn't anywhere near industrial.

>calls someone a tourist
lmao, tell me more about the 2 days you spent on rym

One of the greatest comeback albums ever. Self-titled was great and all, but the way they switched up their style for this is really fucking impressive.

agree, i dunno if i like it more than hell songs, but i like it a lot

uff

>Radiohead
>Serialist

the only band you know and the only obscure genre you can name.
how the fuck does radiohead have anything to do with serialism?

Masterpiece

Well then goo goo gaga bitch

They were better as a grind band.

This album should be right up my street and has been rec'd by people whose opinions I value but I just don't get it. It sounds like Idles trying to be Swans. What am I missing?

the lyrics are a huge reason the album has such an unsettling atmosphere ... maybe you haven't been paying too much attention to them?

People are just upset that Fantano liked it
It's universally considered good and they can't take that

Fair enough, I probably haven't. I'll give it another go and pay closer attention to them. Thanks

>complains about memerap
>posts a memerock album

Very funny, OP.

One of the best albums of the decade for sure. I saw them live last year and they were so good. Jerome's Dream opened for them who were also great.

This is not an industrial album. You could argue its influenced by industrial but it's much closer to noise rock and post-hardcore

What is it like to actually be influenced by critics and reviews? Jesus christ.

Yes the album rips. That was awfully clear before "the dust settled" lmao
