what a great pop record.
it's pure trash
every song sounds the same as the first track with different lyrics and you can barely understand them
>calling yourselves punk
>while also supporting Reagan
idk Reagan was pretty punk rock, he did whatever he wanted and didn't care if you liked it
go back to the Dead Kennedys, this is not for you.
Retarded zoomer
reagan was a senile hollywood actor who was a puppet of corporate interests
nice söy face, fagaloon.
This.
Reagan was terrible for the working classes and started the push for austerity, deregulation, union busting and trickle down economics. How is that punk?
Johnny was the only one who supported reagan. Deedee and joey didnt.
shut up homo, nobody cares. johnny ramone didn't even write the songs.
#FEEL THE BERN
Hating on Reagan was practically an industry unto itself within the punk scene. Every overtly political punk band made anti-reagan songs, and in some cases based their whole aesthetic around opposing the Reagan Revolution culture. That's not to say their opinions weren't valid, but it permeated the entire American punk subculture to the point where saying Reagan was bad was as safe and uncontroversial as saying Nazis were bad. What's punk about following the herd?
I tried playing this album on guitar exactly like Johhny Ramone and i fucking died in Basement. It's even harder than it looks
filtered.
based
absolutely based. Some of the best, most original songwriting to date.
Honestly the 80s hardcore punk scene is hardly punk at all. Instead of the original values of being yourself, having your own musical style, beliefs, look etc, the 80s punk were a self righteous social club where everyone dressed the same, looked the same, sounded the same, and believed the same things.
The Ramones are based in no small part because they stood against all that shit. Instead of just falling in line with all the other punks, or selling out and changing their style they kept doing things their way until the very end
>What is Bonzo goes to Bitburg?
Only Johnny like Reagan while Joey and Marky both hated him and Dee Dee was indifferent
Ramones was Johnny though. He's pretty much the reason why they were so succesfull in the first place, since Dee Dee was a junkie and Joey was a weird mf without any social skill.
dee dee and joey wrote the songs. name a good ramones song johnny wrote.
reminder that punk is a conservative genre
You are dishonest as fuck. Johnny co wrote a lot of songs in their first three albums.
The Ramones were based as fuck and always will be, I like Mondo Bizarro the best
>based
based on what?
>co-wrote
meaning he was there when the group was working on the song and wanted writing credit.
i'm talking about solo songwriting credit.
I didn't say anything about writing songs (although I know he co-wrote a lot them) but he was the leader of the band and the reason why they were popular.
Joey and Dee Dee wrote most of the songs but they wouldn't have gone anywhere if it wasn't for Johnny.
