I am somehow tempted to start collecting vinyls but they are kinda pricey and i dont even own a turntable
I spent 100 dollars for an unplayed copy of TDAG on Seafoam. It was a graduation present to myself.
50$ on a vinyl copy of Deaths Symbolic

or buying RHCP's "what hits?" in the dollar bin
I was suckered into buying pic related on CD for somewhere close to $28. Got it home and put it in the player to see it was 10 minutes long in total. Took it straight back to the store and got my money back, which surprised me as it was opened and all, but the clerk understood what I was saying.

$30 on Strung out Deeper than the night on vinyl.
Fucking worth it just as a pleb filter
I wonder how a zoomer would react if you confiscated their phone and locked them in a room with a record player for a few hours. Would they know what to do?
$800
$50 dollars just now on a original print mint condition of this
What did you buy? Not judging, just curious.
Fishmans Rock Festival Boxset got it on some Japanese website about a year ago for about $1000 less than its going for now. It includes 3 singles, 8 Gatsu No Genjo, Kuchu Camp, Uchu Nippon Setagaya, Long Season, and 98.12.28
$780 on an extremely rare James Ferraro tape. I think it was a private release limited to only 5 copies. Got it from a close friend of Jim and Spencer Clark. It's not even listed on discogs.
Never heard of it, but I hope you enjoy it!
a-are you willing to share it user?
$70ish for MTI vinyl
$70ish also for Oblivion Acces vinyl
30$ or sth on "Various - Even A Tree Can Shed Tears: Japanese Folk & Rock 1969-1973"
30$ or sth on "This heat - This heat"
There was that box set for 900 on discogs last week, had to really use self control to not buy it
I don't remember. I don't own too many records yet.
I bought Analphabetapolothology which is the only double album I've bought myself, so probably that one.
Tempted to buy the original pressing of pic related, bet it'll be worth a lot one day. They already go for like $50+ though so I don't know if it'd be worth it.
Goddammit I just checked Discogs again. The only one for sale is going for $99. I wish I knew about it when it was first released. Fuck
Around 70$ for Opeth's In Cauda Venenum.
Don't think so, but would love to. I don't want to get the seller into trouble.
100$ for mikgazer vol 1
Not the most expensive, but I actually spent 18 euros for the Songs About Fucking CD, just to open it and read an Albini note saying digital editions suck and that I was a fucking idiot for buying that overpriced inferior CD edition instead of the vinyl one.
Anyways I'm proud I got it, may increase its value with time and the record actually slaps.
facebook-tier post.
keep jerking off other millenial hipsters with your collection of bendy, degraded vinyls though
>this compact disc is made from analog masters recorded without noise reduction. half the tracks, in fact, were recorded in a dismal, cheap basement eight track studio with puddles of water on the floor. digital technology will now faithfully reproduce those noisy low-fi, unprofessional masters for you at great expense.
>feel stupid yet?
athen's france is better
