Where were you when MBV sold out?

Where were you when MBV sold out?

>My Bloody Valentine have teamed up with streetwear giant Supreme for a new clothing collection based on the shoegaze band's classic album artwork.

>The covers for 1988's Feed Me With Your Kiss EP and 1990's Glider EP, as well as the band's classic 1991 album Loveless all feature on the new line of clothing.

i like to think the label made that decision. I really can't understand Kev signing off on this

$$$

Kev probably likes to make money too yknow, and since you can’t make money with music anymore I guess he will opt for this

this world sucks

who the fuck cares. they put their shit on some shirts so they could make money. it's a no brainer

>hypebeatsts walking around with you made me realize shirts
noooooo

What's so bad about this?

This is sweet. cant wait to cop some of this merch

Disgusting

Listening to a superior shoegaze band

Yas Forumstants they want to feel special and underground

HONESTLY

they have to make money some how, not like they make music anymore

we are witnessing a band lose it's artistic integrity after maintaining it for 3 decades

dont worry you made me realize is safe
for now

I was slowly walking down the hall, faster than a cannonball, wearing these dope ass sneakers

How is this losing integrity?

they kept it for too long honestly -- Kevin is 56, the band practically doesn't exist any more

Let me tell you faggots something, their "artistic integrity" ceased when they pissed away half a million on overdubbing guitars till they sounded "ethereal" and "dreamy", when in essence it is a shit sounding album made with welfare gibsmedats. Isn't Anything is in all aspects a better album. In any case they are a meme band that was widely disregarded in their actual time of existence, and rightly got btfo by first Nirvana and then Oasis and the respective cultural zeitgeist that followed in their slipstream. I have no idea how MBV did not stay buried, because no one in the nineties talked or cared about them.

Yep, they're finished.

maybe he would if he would release those damn albums like he said he would

>A whole new generation of zoomers wearing sweatshirts with artwork from albums they have never heard

Isn't Anything isn't better lol. I enjoy a lot of MBVs older stuff but Isn't Anything is from an awkward era, i mean listen to this shit

>hypebeast retards who idolize the 90s are gonna be wearing mbv shirts
oof

JUST

I TOLD YOU
I told you these guys were sellouts. Also I never liked Kevin.

Imagine still buying Supreme in 2020

I thought these were music artists

both are blocked in my country

haha your "underground" media consumption was never underground and is being exploited for consumer desires. seethe as capitalism digs the grave of what you thought was yours.

Cocteau Twins have literally been offered millions for reunion shows, and they have declined the offers. True artists have some integrity

He never said "when it came out".

What exactly is so hard about making new music instead?

Why didn't they use the You Made Me Realise art?

Kevin literally solved music in '91. There's nowhere else to go.

It costs money to make an album and get it released and MBV don't have a label backing them.

Also Kevin needs to eat. Sony pretty much take every penny for every copy of Loveless/Isn't Anything sold.
