Come on, all of those are some of the most famous punk albums of all time. All good, but don't act like no one's heard them.
I downloaded a bunch of Rudimentary Peni the other day, not having listening to them since I was a kid and I'm re-discovering how incredible they were. Somehow a bit of an underrated band, probably because they get pigeonholed with the whole Crass thing, which they were leagues ahead of.

Calling zen arcade (which is bloated with filler) the best punk album is a disservice to all of those albums. Glad you started listening to rudimentary peni though, one of my favorite bands, and I agree they blow the shit out of crass. I was pretty disappointed with crass because I loved do they owe us a living, but nothing else they ever made really came close to it. At least, nothing I heard.

Zen arcade is an hour and a half long shitfest capped off by 15 fucking minutes of worthless riffing, and the worst part about that song is they already wasted 3 minutes of your time earlier playing it backwards. If they had just stuck with the single album maybe I’d like it more.
