i love 80s heavy/extreme metal
but i couldt ever get into 70's stuf (exept sabbath of course). everything sounds to dam hippy to me. How do i into the 70's hard stuf?

Just finished having a listen to pic related, wasn't all that bad, wasn't great either.
Decent I guess, you have your breakdowns, and your solos.
Vocals are good, cleans might throw some people off but I found them surprisingly good coming from a deathcore vocalist. Lyrics and album premise are great.
The bonus track (Sea of Trees) was good, and the softest track (Hickory Creek) is nice but I feel like it's acoustic rendition seemed better fitting for what it was.

Rock&Metal acts tend to last longer. Plus there aren't many bands founded 2000 or later that can fill a decent sized venue these days so you need big, established acts to sell tickets for your festival
